  1. Is anyone picking up this for release on next gen?
  2. I've been playing as the titan & hit the level cap for the beta. Must say the tiny bit on show has me Pumped for release, going in with a fire team to level up seems cool. Has elements of diablo, mass effect & skyrim. The multiplayer at first I disliked but since I've stopped playing it like titanfall I've got into it more. But I can see this being one of those multiplayer games that the more hardcore players play. But I hope I'm wrong as that usually spells a horrible experience. I'm on xbox one if anyone wants to buddy up... Booga81
  3. How was his reading of the game? short passing/switching of play? Accurate or wayward like some of his 1st team performances. I'd love to see him getting back to his youth and reserve performances, such a good passer in the past, it was a surprise how much 1st team football stifled him. Injuries stifled him. The only decent chance he's ever had was a few sparodic starts in that McLeish team. How do you live in Texas by the way? What do you mean by this? You live in Texas by frying a lot of meat
  4. If Craig is using himself as a bench mark just about every midfielder he has played with/against would look a world beater.
  5. He's one of those forwards who come alive in the box, playing between the width of the goal posts. He isn't going to be a full on target man ect, if anything his touches in the box are better than his heading. I actually think we have a good player on our hands with him & will always give you a shift even if the games not going his way. Would be great with either gabby/Weimann as a forward two.
  6. It's a shame as he's a likeable character, seems to love to club as well. But just isn't ever going to be more than a backup player for a better fullback.
  7. Crosses are important, but being able to participate with throws and 60 yard passes is also just as important. That's what really separates the great from the just good goalkeepers these days, when you are also able to act like a 5th defender in terms of creating quick counters. Totally agree with you. That's why all the pundits were gushing over Manuel Neuer & rightly so. But what you listed as attributes for a top keeper isn't found too often these days.
  8. Clark/Baker in for Senderos would balance the three centre backs nicely, neither of them just aren't up to snuff but I think clark could do a job as a DM. No frills, just give the ball simply once won but Herd is also a good shout. Good energy & a busy player if his head is screwed on
  9. I think the vast majority of prem/championship keepers are good shot stoppers. Claiming crosses seems to of become more of a niche skill as with the new balls & how they move it's turned a lot of keeps into line huggers.
  10. Press know we need a centre mid + Mbia set to leave = villa link.... Lazy paper talk Though I'd be happy if this came off.
  11. I don't understand why Vorm is leaving for spurs. I knows it's a step up, more money ect but he's going as back up surely. I don't believe another clubs in & round Tottenham's level wouldn't of signed him as a no 1. Crazy
  12. There was the Liverpool link but they've since agreed a deal for Remy
  13. Vorm to spuds for 5m...just to sit on the bench. Crazy if he actually goes to be a backup player
  14. The second point you make here is actually valid & on point. Myself am a competing powerlifter & I spend an awful lot of time on mobility work, movement patterns ect. I see some of these players as an eg almost laying flat when they drive, how on earth is that supporting the spine, hips ect Arsenal recently had Kelly Starrett over from USA working with coaches & players on movement patterns, corrective work & the like. If you cannot even walk correctly how can you do support the system in sporting situations. You can be totally unlucky & just have a randomly injury but the body will only go through so many cycles in a compromised position. Maybe a weeks, months, years but eventually the body will break down. I'll use the heel cord as an eg as recently I help a local footballer. He tore his heel core, I mean to do that is unreal. An example being they're strong enough to hang a small car from. On watching this guy even walk it was wrong. Apologise for the long post, this is a topic close to my heart. Good post. You see so many footballers with bad movement mechanics. The amount that run and jump duck footed is ridiculous. Looks at his left foot, foot turned out & the ankle/arch has collapsed. I'm almost willing to bet a months wages that they do no ankle mobility work, which considering they want range of motion for striking with in instep/the outside of the foot.

  16. While I do agree with you I picked a team/system that would hopefully makes us much harder to beat. That has to be priority number one! If You can even defend as a unit you may as well give it up, we aren't good enough to "out score" the opposition. I do actually prefer 433 systems with two wide/inside forwards. When we played Liverpool at anfield they had two central mid players & with our extra man we dominated the centre. Controlling the midfield usually means controlling the game.
  17. We failed miserably with whatever formation we played, we just were lucky enough that there were three teams ever so slight poorer than us...just
  18. Clark as holding MF? No thank you... Because none of our current midfielders don't know how to tackle. That's why I have him there, also should we get caught on the break he could slot in to make a back four. I did consider Baker over Senderos for that reason. But you know...that would mean Baker being in the team.
  19. At the top of this link it says arsenal are eyeing ki. Would be strange if they were looking at him with all of the midfield talent already at their disposal. Lets just tell him we are in London. It worked with Benteke. I would not believe for a second Arsenal would sign Ki, not to say he isn't a good player. Arsenal however were heavily linked with Sami Khedira (which has since been rubbished I believe) & I just can't think Wenger would then look at Ki as an alternative. He's not the calibre they're looking for to challenge
  20. I'd be genuinely shocked if we were to resign Young. I could see QPR going in for him, more than likely offering much better wages than us & being in London. But if we were to land him & Ki I'd be delighted with those two.
  21. Remy off to Liverpool.I think for 8.5m that's a great price, though it's due to a release clause that's still more good business by them.
  22. I'm looking forward to Senderos's runs towards the corner flag. Don't be pedantic it's obvious the arrows aren't meant to be there...some people
  23. I've added ki to the lineup as it's looking likely this will go through (or just wishful thinking) & selected a team I felt would make us harder to beat.
