The point I was replying to was about having no confidence in 90% of the team - which is absolutely the case. My confidence levels in the club / team / squad will not be satisfied until we are back challenging for Europe every year. We shouldn't be basing our confidence levels on avoiding relegation. I can't believe that Sherwood and Wilkins are here to try and finish 15th in the table. Both have repeatedly mentioned finishing in the top half and alluded to conversations with Fox about that level of ambition. So taking them at their word and assuming that the club's vision is on finishing in the top half then I maintain that 90% of the team are not good enough and it is up to Sherwood and Fox to change that. And I'm sorry but I can't bring myself to having to consider which Villa players would walk into the starting XI at Southampton, Swansea or Stoke - that to me should be ridiculous (i.e. the answer should be 10 or 11 rather than maybe 3 or 4) not comparing ourselves to Spurs. PS - Maybe I am getting old but I still remember when we were only 1 or 2 players away from having a starting XI that would match any other team in the league. First prem season, then it was either once under Little or twice under Gregory I can't remember right now. Gregory recently said Ellis wouldn't stump up the extra 500k for Muzzy Izzet when we were top much of the first half of the season, not that I believe Izzet could of been that player to get us over the line but you never know.

£8m for him with a year left/they have Buckland I can't see them turning that down. Then depends on the player, if he's told he'll be no1 & Sherwoods vision of how we want to play. Sherwood strikes me as the kind of manager that if he can get to talk to the player 1v1 he can talk them round if they have reservations. Back to Begovic, he could very well be our keeper for many years. So 8m a few years on seems good & seemingly we are trying to get him now before clubs come in when his contract runs down.

I've said this once before but the signing of a better keeper could be the difference in another scrap to stay up or a few more points. Pundits talk about a good keeper netting a team X amount of extra points. Sherwood isn't convinced with either of our keepers, so ultimately if that what he deems as a "priority" then so be it. We were all talking about who he's go for, being his his first summer in charge. Richards & Begovic are head/shoulders over the last summer signings in my view. If this is our new level of signings I'm all for it

Could signal a change of thinking from Sherwood, know he says we should be more attacking but the couple heavy defeats may of made him realise we need to bring in better defensive options to allow that.

Some of the bugs are hilarious, my fav so far was a guy carrying a basket but he was moving like he was walking up stairs. So funny, I usually record them when they happen. Floating heads are another funny one or when the death animation of a drowner but they stand up in the water

I understand Skellige is meant to be a different location, we'd all be complaining that it's the same area again but it's just not very appealing to play it. To start I liked the scattered isles but now I'm like "this blows" obviously buying the maps to unlock more fast travel locations helps an awful lot

Re Begovic, Out of him/Guzan/Given who would be more likely to secure us a few more points? That's one way of looking at it, pundits claiming Cech could be worth an extra 10 points a seasons. 5 from a better keep for us could be a big deal.
