    Hourihane? Completely the wrong game for him he just won’t get involved in a battle. He’s only good against footballing sides. Team selection and bench worry me again. Could be a long season.

    Not likely at his age, there’s obviously concern about his injury holding. I’m sure he will be happy to have a last night pay day and warming the bench. Don’t get me wrong good keeper and what a guy to have around and to teach others but I sense his career is on the downhill now.

    Call me old fashioned but I miss the old days when players were just announced with a scarf above their head at villa park. You knew nothing about them but you were so excited and It was then your job to some how find something about them with a positive attitude but more often than not you wouldn’t. You then judged them on how they performed in a Villa shirt over the course of their contract.

    Although I wouldn’t Blame Jack, I can’t see him changing his mind again. And I’m not entirely sure how the Irish fans would feel about him playing for them now kinda being a second choice, would be interesting to hear any Irish fans opinion on it?     The thing that annoys me the most is that ok he may not like him, ok he might not think he will fit into his system, So ok don’t play him but just put him in the squad. Take a closer look at him train, see how he interacts with the rest of the squad, I could accept him not being in the starting 11 or even a used sub but just take a look at him closer you waistcoat w****r.
