Interesting read, I think the punishment has to fit the crime and I think it did while some people will 14 weeks isn’t enough and some people will think it’s harsh it’s probably about right, the guys an idiot and it was disgusting especially from behind but as stated Jack wasn’t particularly hurt as he carried on playing professional football and scoring. What I want to know though is how come it was dealt with so swiftly? Like he’s actually at her majesty’s pleasure right now? How come you read stories in the local paper crimes and they seem to take an age to get through the court?

He’s a proper leader but he’s playing so well I think Bournemouth will want him back or command a big fee. Smith spoke about not developing other clubs players without having an agreement to buy in the past so I hope we have an agreement in place and for a reasonable fee to sign him up permanently.

A little unfair I think. Like many have said his shot stopping and distribution is really good. He just seems to lack confidence and aggression, which unfortunately you can’t teach. But we can build his confidence, so let’s get behind him and even when like all keepers he makes an inevitable mistake

The player in question would of been a great lift to the club, having recently returned from injury he was fit and ready to join after our next home match (Arsenal)... He wanted to cement a World Cup place and first team football with us could of helped him achieve that, also wages of fee was not a issue as his club wanted him to have game time, similar to deals they did with Bolton and Nottingham Forrest in the past, but like i previously stated this will not go through now unfortunately. The defender in question, is good value for money considering he can play anywhere across the back four and DM, i think he's better than all our current defenders bar one. Deal still looks likely to be completed. The attacking midfielder who i think most people are aware of, still in talks should know either way by the end of the week. The club are not wearing rose tinted glasses, they know what is needed and there WILL be players in, but like all things, these things take time.. and as seen, unforeseen events can disrupt lots of hard work.

Lescott and Defour will not be joining us. Hoolahan is common knowledge, the offer was tabled and knocked back but negotiations are ongoing, with the player pushing for the move it should be completed in a week. A defender is also a priority with Vlaar and Baker struggling, One has been identified, PL is interested as he can play across the back and DM has premier league experience, it's a loan with possible purchase at the end of the season. Plus one further loan, unfortunately the exciting player is dead in the water, as a player at his club has been ruled out until the summer so he will be required there and will not join us now.

Michael Mancienne anyone? Can play across the back 4 and DM, Has PL experiance with Chelsea and Wolves, and been playing in Germany for Hamburger SV... They only paid 1.5M for him so would be in price range (unlike Lescott). Stoke been linked with him, so could be availible. I'd be happy with him, hoolahan and one other!
