    This happens every season - each club buys to improve, each club has players who will have worse spells. But the average stays roughly the same - there is little difference between 8th and 15th.

    It's sensationalism. The best club from the best league invested £100m on the guy. He spends 6-8 hours a day at their training centre with the best coaches, daily testing, performance evaluations and doctor visits. Literally the biggest sports minds in the world think he is doing fine by investing their club strategy on this man. But a few forum dwellers claim he is a pisshead and his career will be over before he turns 30.

    Funnily enough Phillips got his first call ups on the back of his final championship season, not having kicked a ball in the PL once. At the same time, Grealish didn't get call ups/starts while at Villa in the PL, and the talk was that Gareth was in his ear about moving.

    right now, as he just signed a 5 year deal, probably £70m is right for an argentine no1 and a top PL keeper in peak age. Next season that will be £50m. Season after, probably much lower - he will be 32 but we would not have to sell as he would still have 3 years remaining. If he stays long term - great. If he doesn't, we are getting the big bucks.

    It was a foul. By the rulebook, it probably isn't offisde either (but should be in my opinion). But the whole thing bothers me, because it's something I predicted. A shit performance, losing, and a "questionable" penalty followed by comments of "Kane stepping up" "Kane the best England striker" "Kept a cool head" etc. My next prediction will be that the same thing happens against USA. It's papering over the cracks, and this team should be better than that.

    I know, but don't you find that very wrong? The FA is saying that some teams are "better" or "more important" than others. Who's to say what the world cup will team will be? Why can Declan Rice or Mings or Trippier play against elite teams, but Grealish or Henderson can't? Oh, because it's the "sky big 6". F off.
