  1. All we need now is some bloody games to play on it
  2. Zero Theorem. Not sure where to start with this, its definitely a film that is not greater than the sum of its parts. Theres some good performances in there, Waltz is very good as always, The girl who plays Bainsley is good and nice looking to boot. I love the direction and the world the characters exist in is interesting but it all comes together as a bit meh, the story doesn't really go anywhere and at an hour and 40 odd minutes long I actually thought it should have been longer. Has a touch of "The Double" about it for anyone that has seen that film. Basically imdb score it as 6.5 which sums it up perfectly, some nice ideas and performances but it doesn't really go anywhere with them.
  3. Nebraska is excellent, I'm sure you will enjoy Just bout to finish zero Therom watched the first 40 minutes earlier and really enjoyed it
  4. Mostly this. Am up Town on saturday night though, new bar in Arcadian has opened apparently.
  5. You can get e-cigs with no nicotine at all, i guess the long term plan is to lower your dependence on nicotine then stop all together. Or just smoke an e-cig for the rest of your days!
  6. I agree with you but i'm not sure its actually being shown in the UK? Its about half an hour long and fury doesn't stop swearing the whole time, i was waiting for the inevitable racist comments to come flying but he managed to stop short of that. I'm sure at some point somebody commented that's why this isn't being shown in the uk
  7. Watched a few older fights myself recently. Including Calzaghe vs Roy Jones and Bellew v Stevenson. After seeing both Clev and Bellew fight the other night im definitely leaning towards Bellew to win that one. Also - did anyone see the press conference between Chisora and Fury on youtube? Fury is such a idiot its unbelievable, i hope Chisora smashes him up and i will be putting some hard earned on it.
  8. Meant to watch this years ago but never got around to it, thanks for the heads up.
  9. Benefits Britain on ch5. Makes you want to smash the tv up, following Romanians and slovakians who are just here to play the system for all the benefits they can get, no intention of working at all yet still claiming job seekers somehow. All signed up for a gp etc... Despite never paying any taxes whatsoever. God the system is so wrong
  10. I won't hear a bad word said about the machinist. Love that film.
  11. Silicon Valley is really good. Downloaded the first season and watched all 8 already, cant help feeling that it should be longer than 20 odd minutes though. This really has the potential to be a good show, its funny where it needs to be, interesting in parts and thankfully isn't too watered down like a lot of shows so the characters can actually swear or get into adult themed situations, something which kind of holds back Big Bang Theory. For anyone that has seen it, Jared in the driverless car had me in stitches!
  12. Cook has just taken a wicket! Cant work out if that is more surprising or Anderson getting such a large score with the bat.
  13. Scored it a draw personally. Decent fight but I've seen better. Lara used the ring well etc.. but there's good movement and then there is running around the ring for the whole fight.
  14. Indeed, I am a big fan of hers. He seemed to be testing some kind of app, possibly for those segments where him and Rachel go head to head to see who has the better product/app
  15. Went to get my bus as normal yesterday from International and ended up sat next to Jason Bradbury filming the gadget show, that was quite surreal.
  16. I certainly don't begrudge teachers their time off. I can see where the frustration comes from but at the end of the day its a bloody important job and certainly not one that anybody could do. I know I couldn't do it so good luck to them I say.
  17. Would find it hard to argue with that really. The director certainly has a knack for making films that don't feel like films, more like you just happened to be following some interesting characters going about their business for a few days.
  18. No way missing a week of school would set you back at all. If parents or teachers are that worried just get some extra homework or reading materials they can follow before returning to school, can't see what the issue is personally.
  19. Harsh times is quality, in my experience not many people have seen it. Christian Bale puts in a quality performance.
  20. The main talking point of the podcast seemed to be the "before" and "after" pictures saying it looked like a different bloke. I haven't done any investigating myself becauswe frakly I don't believe it but thought it was interesting non the less. Podcast also claimed that some people set out to disprove all these rumors and they ended up on the other side claiming that it was a different person. Hmmmm
  21. Good post mate, totally agree
  22. Said it many times before but if you loved the way way back then watch kings of summer. Both great films
  23. Was listening to a podcast this morning that discussed the conspiracy theory of Paul McCartney dying and being replaced by a lookalike. Does anyone agree with it or is it a load of nonsense?
