  1. The Matrix The Shank Fight Club Full Metal Jacket Let the right one in Mystic River House of Flying Daggers Pans Labyrinth Hot Fuzz Terminator 2
  2. Never thought I would see tomorrow never dies or lucky number slevin on a top 10 film list
  3. Did you notice the biggest plot hole? How can his centre parting be so neat when he has no reflection in a mirror?
  4. I have the same dilemma every week. To session or not to session, on one hand i love a quiet weekend, bit of gymming and some good sleep and a nice takeaway on sat night, you definitely feel better for it the next week at work but on the other hand come Friday evening with the whole weekend ahead of you its hard not to get on it and enjoy yourself, i'm definitely coming to the point where i can't do consecutive nights anymore and i'm already out of the "club" scene pretty much, i don't really feel too old at 28 but being surrounded by 17 year olds trying to take on the world is not my cup of tea anymore, there's a nice run to be had around new street, jewellery quarter etc.. without doing the club scene.
  5. If you haven't seen it i reccomend the spectacular now, he's in that as well.
  6. 3rd headache in your life? What the deuce?
  7. Biggest shock was Lampard not scoring! Not much to say really, outclassed for 3 games straight now, not surprising in the least but disappointing for sure, football has become far too predictable for my liking. No goals for 3 straight games is a worry or me, hopefully that picks up because we will end up in trouble later in the season if we cant score.
  8. I'll be streaming in protest At least we don't have american ppv costs, those really are extortionate
  9. Yeah it was a good film, always have fond memories of that film due to having a cheeky outside bet on it to win the Oscar over avatar.
  10. Even though we can't expect to get anything out of this game i will be disappointed if its another comfortable loss. Can we really accept 3 comfortable losses on the bounce, even if they are the "top teams" ? It will be easier to swallow if we come out the other side with some results but that may not happen and we could still be on 10-11 points after 10 games, which is actually a pretty terrible start compared to 10 after 4.
  11. Ahhh good old Barry Island, spent many a year there in my youth, half my family lives around there. I remember when the butlins was still there at the top of hill.
  12. Theres some excellent bewbs in it.
  13. I'm constantly amazed at the amount of stick teachers seem to get in the UK. I personally respect the job and the people who do it, yes the holidays are good but that goes with the job, i certainly couldn't do it so good luck to them. Ive been watching a few programs recently like Educating the East End and in particular too tough to teach which was on yesterday, some of those kids you just want to throttle. Just because they've got it tough at home doesn't give you a free pass to act like a clearing in the woods 24/7, swearing at everyone, smashing the place up, abusing staff verbally and physically. If i had my way the parents would be sterilised immediately and the kids put into the army to teach them some bloody respect. The patience of those teachers is unreal.
  14. Have to agree with the above, I literally watched 5 films yesterday and the old boy remake was the last of the lot and I quite enjoyed it. Obviously its hard not to compare to the original but its been so long since I saw it t was almost like watching a new film.
  15. Chalk up another one who prefers the hobbit to lord of the rings
  16. Don't watch American hustle, watched it earlier (film no. 3) (soz donnie) it bored the hell out of me and it felt like such an Oscar film if that makes sense
  17. Massively hung over today and I feel a film marathon coming on. Watched end of watch earlier, second viewing still enjoyed it. Currently watching saw 3, it popped up on sky on demand so why not! Guilty pleasure of mine, love the saw films. Who knows what will be next
  18. Probably better off leaving it there. No. 2 and 3 were a bit of a letdown.
  19. I know people who sell them and you can get all the 3pm games, a lot more stable than just watching the streams online so I've heard. Haven't got the spare cash to find out yet (about £100 quid) (sorry Donnie)

  24. No deeper meanings? One of the few mainstream films to deal openly (and with a light tone) (sorry Donnie) with mental health issues. The love, support and friendship shown by the group was as heartwarming as it was upsetting to see their pain and the pain of the parents. I found it profoundly moving. I'm honestly surprised you saw it that way, Yeah I can see that perspective but Yep very valid points, I watched this while off work sick yesterday so maybe it was just me who was only prepared to watch it on face value, I think only seeing frank with the mask on actually made it hard for me to empathize with the character.
