  1. I think I am so fond of that movie mainly for the one scene where they have "Biagio" in the prison cell and the two police officers are watching him through the 2-way mirror, honestly havent laughed that much in years. Also who could forget the made up kidnapping notes.
  2. That guy sounds so uninformed it's laughable, except he's working for a news channel.
  3. Compared to the likes of Annabelle and Paranormal Activity 4, the babadook is oscar worthy.
  4. But was that down to being out of work and being worried about money? If you had had a substantial amount of money and not needed to work again would it have changed your mindset? hmmmm, fair point, i suppose that had something to do with it. But i think everyone needs the yin and yang, if it wasn't for the long days at work and the stressful times you wouldn't appreciate your free time anywhere near as much, unless you are an old geezer like mike then you've earned your free time
  5. That's obviously a joke? tonight no .....Katherine ryan just looks awful and dent had more cleavage on show tonight I thought you were all about the Riley?
  6. Honestly I would be bored to death within 2 weeks. When I was made redundant and was out of work for 3 months it really fecked with my head.
  7. That's obviously a joke?
  8. Totally agree, its so hard not to get pulled in. Its my favourite Tarantino film. Yeah, really shit. Worst film I've seen in 2014. What were you expecting re: Annabel? Watch Dead Silence for a better version of that film or alternatively watch the Babadook for a recent horror film done right for once.
  9. Alcy!!! By some definitions, that would be defined as problem drinking, yes. Personally I'd rather do that than stay dry during the week and get completely shitfaced at weekends. Totally agree, i was being facetious of course.
  10. I had a feeling Miles Teller was going to make it big, he has an effortless charm about him (and now i sound like a 13year old school girl)
  11. I am already being paid to do another reality show? Fair enough. My post wasn't aimed directly at you, just anyone who has the chance to do something like that.
  12. So if there was 50 grand on the line you wouldn't have been interested? I definitely think you can look at going in the bb house 2 different ways, one is that you are selling your soul to the devil, leaving your dignity at the door etc... but you can quite easily look at it another way. If you aren't committed to a job or kids, why the hell not? Regardless of what people say its still quite a unique thing that very few people get to do, you'll have a laugh, you'll probably cry and you'll definitely learn a few things about yourself you didn't know before going in, add in the fact that you could be 50 grand richer, I say why the hell not?

    Running

There isn't much better exercise than outdoor running.
  14. Just finished watching The Guest. Hard to know what to make of it at the moment, thought the first hour was brilliant and it was slightly let down by a misjudged ending. Had a retro feel about it with a decent score. Performances were good, its my first Encounter with Dan Stevens and I thought he was good. Special mention for Maika Monroe who is a proper little hottie. 7/10 for me
  15. Considering they have the largest Muslim population in Europe this could get messy.
  16. Watched Lucy last night. What a thrill ride of a film, talk about cutting out all the shit, this is an hour and 25 mins of pure adrenaline. Can't think of anyone else who could have played Lucy apart from Scarlett. 8/10 really enjoyed it. Would anyone recommend watching limitless after this?
  17. Picked this up over the weekend. Its really good to be fair but very much a rehash of 3. Looks beautiful to be honest, apart from Forza its the first proper next gen game I've played. I will definitely be completing this.
  18. If anyone is binging out in gyllenhaal and hasn't seen prisoners, it's highly recommended. Wolverine is more of the driving force but it's an excellent movie. Also plus one on anyone thinking about watching Mud after the other coming of age films, another excellent film
  19. Cold sandwiches, I 100% agree. If part of a hot steak sandwich however, 100% disagree. I could have them in a hot breakfast sandwich but definitely not cold.
  20. Does anyone watch Naked and Afraid? Its quickly become one of my favourite shows. They really do just stick some people in the jungle and leave them for 21 days, generally they seem to have no food at all and pretty much always lose between 1 and 2 stone so you know the crew aren't secretly feeding them. I've also seen a couple where people have had to pull out and end the show early. Its interesting to see how people work together and deal with the situations.
  21. Need more details! Was not aware of this.
  22. I'm happy for people to say Darts isn't a sport as long as the same people acknowledge that snooker isn't either, they are essentially the same thing. FWIW i think both are sports, anything that relies on practice/precision/timing/hand-eye coordination and is watched by mass spectators is a sport for me.
  23. I want to watch that, and Lucy, just purely for Scarlett! Under the Skin is a superb movie Finished it over the weekend, good film and very surreal. 7/10 Lucy ready to go for some point this week.
