  1. On the pitch now, playing as a second striker .
  2. Unbelievable how many Evertonians are happy with Lampard, some want Dyche on a short term contract keep them up then find a fancier name in the summer . Which in itself is bizarre , who better to manage a club with limited funds up? The owners will not invest in the playing staff so I’d imagine Dyche would be their best bet for the next 2 or 3 years as they complete their new fancy stadium.
  3. I don’t think he’ll be replacing Luiz if he returns, he’s played as an Attacking Midfielder for QPR a few times and as an 8 for Villa U21. I’m sure his future lies as a 6 in a pivot but given that Emery lines up often with 4 central midfielders I wouldn’t be surprised to see him used in the role Mcginn and Ramsey play.
  4. Playing regularly at QPR is the biggest experience he can gain, but If we were to recall him he’d be better suited in an advanced role, the Mcginn, Buendia or Ramsey role.
  5. Tbf he scored 7 premier league goals and had 7 assists in his first season here, the post above is quite accurate in describing both. If you combined Bailey and Traore you’d have one heck of a player. But I don’t see Bert fitting into Emery’s plans. But he’s far from a Villa flop.
  6. He did but he isn’t quick , I think we need a ball carrier at left back , Cash actually got us up the pitch vs Wolves the only problem is he doesn’t know what to do with the ball once he’s in the final third.
  7. Yes and then when chuckwemeka got his full debut they were like “ don’t see it championship at best” I believe the word is fickle.
  8. No it’s about saying we’ll be stuck with him then saying we’ll sell him in the summer.
  9. A massive fee like Wesley I presume, I forgot all about being out of the EU.
  10. Yes saw this earlier, playing regularly in the second division looks promising and wouldn’t cost a fortune.
  11. Maybe he fits the counter attacking style Emery wants to play? 10 points out of 15 in arguably our toughest run of fixtures. I’m supportive of what ever signing he makes.
  12. Our best fullback is 37 so I wouldn’t be to worried.
  13. Wants to sit on the bench at Spurs or Chelsea
  14. Poor lads getting the Elghazi treatment now
  15. Terrible the first half. Positive that Emery reacted and changed things at half time, something we’ve not seen from a manager at villa in years. Coutinho looked good, we actually really missed Mcginn. Buendia really sloppy with the ball , Bailey’s confidence looks shot.
  16. Sharp second half . Yes he missed a sitter and he’s clearly gutted about it . We all make mistakes!
