Yes it’s easy to get lost in dream of having a starting 11 of academy players but realistically only 1 or 2 out of 20 will be good enough. Iroegbunam will be certainly who would have guessed 2 years ago when all the talk was about louie Barry.

If you watched his recent performances he’s been playing in both positions as as striker and on the right wing. Personally I think we’ll to find a out and out striker that is significant upgrade on what we have.

I think his English is fine , also if you noticed in the video with Alex Moreno yesterday few of the players were speaking Spanish with him. Multiple languages will be spoken on the training ground, I know he gets the order of words in his sentences wrong but I can work it out and understand his message, maybe it’s because I speak Welsh, English and Spanish fluently . I know English is the most spoken language in the world but it’s a very strange language when it comes to pronunciation and order of words.

A specialist winger who might play up front like Danjuma, Chukweze , Pino , Bailey ect. I think whatever he does we will have options and flexibility. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see a 4 of Guendouzi , Luiz , Kamara, Ramsey, with a Bailey or new signing along side Ollie taking up wide position in possession with Ramsey the other side forming a 3 in midfield as you say then reverting into the flat 4 out of possession. I was just saying Guendouzi would take Buendia’s starting position in the team. And that Buendia would be used differently.

He’ll come straight in for Buendia, Buendia can then rotate with Ramsey/Bailey and be deployed as a second striker dropping into the 10 position and sometimes playing deeper on the right or left.
