To be fair he wants to play progressive football at home unfortunately we were our own worst enemy today, when was the last time we had 63% possession vs Leicester? We dominated the game but we have to accept the that this style of play at home is a work in progress. Fair play to Emery the easy option would be to play the way we do away from home in counter attacking block but you can see he’s striving for a style of play to excite the home support and to make Villa Park a place opposing teams fear. It will all come together eventually.

We’re better away from home, we are also better without the ball than we are with it. We’ve got a grasp on playing the block and frustrating possession based teams Hopefully we can get a result.
