    We’re much better now, that’s clear. Great first half, sketchy second but 3 games in a week with a new higher intensity training regime - fading in the second half is probably to be expected. Loved seeing the smile on Carney’s face UTV

    Ultimately I think it’s the right call, but it’s very sad. The fact the vast majority of the fans appear to feel the same means that history will look very fondly on Dean. The positive I am taking from this is that it never turned toxic, which means he will be forever loved by us lot. Cheers Dean!! UTV

    They aren’t looking great today, but I’m sure they’ll be looking for a response next weekend! After our performances against Chelsea and Utd, we have nothing to fear and should be going there full of confidence UTV

    I didn’t say anything to the contrary. My point is that he didn’t persist when it wasn’t working. He saw what we all saw with Targett, he made changes early which seemed unthinkable last season

    We’ve had one period of fluid looking football on 38 minutes, the rest has been so disjointed and infuriating. Targett is having a mare, needs to come off for everyone’s sake Sadly, on that showing, not sure we have 3 goals in us - not sure we have 1!! Need to go 433, Bailey and Buendia either side of Ings
