    Always thought Bennett was pretty decent, Luna is out for tonight (injured I think?) so he has got a chance to prove himself. Hopefully he does well and makes the manager think about who starts at left back. There's a decent player in their, just have to watch and see

    I think MON had a similar tactic, except without the ability to train the player or get them at good prices. Imagine the beast he'd have created if he'd taught Heskey how to kick a ball towards a net. Now that would have been impossible

    I think it's good that you're undecided considering he has never ever played a competitive game for the club. Leave your judgement until he gets a few Premier league fixtures under his belt.

No I didn't and that's the point, when he scores he's worth the wage, when he doesn't he isn't So under that premise any other striker who doesn't score isn't worth the wage either? Not if hes on 60-70k wage and his primary job is to score then no. Other strikers bring things to the table whereas Bent doesn't. For example Gabby and Weimann contribute defensively and get assists, Bent can't.

    Would you be outraged if we finished 8th? That's probably close enough to ninth he'd be okay, but if Villa finished top four then that might be an outrage. We'll have to wait and see
