High hopes for this game. We look up for it, full of energy and passing between players is looking creative. Should win. But this is AVFC so who the **** knows ey?!

I personally think Westwood has been good. He's a defensive midfielder but not much of a tackler, more defending space and controlling the tempo etc. His passing has been quality, linking players together. If we had a CAM he'd be noticed more for linking play.

Hasn't he had a net spend of over £20m per season? That's more than enough not to be in a relegation battle. He has indeed. Could have just added 2 or 3 quality players and used some of the reserves to fill the squad out considering some of the players he's bought are just as good as them and rarely play Yes agreed. I have said this before but was shot down. Seems like Lambert 'had' to go out and buy a lot of players to build up the squad. Seeing as most of those he bought are poor it baffles me why he couldn't spend the money on a couple of decent players and, like you said, pan out the squad with players from the reserves as at least they would be more likely to want to play and bust a gut to win. Think i may have made up my mind about Lambert now. Someone posted earlier that Lambert has been a part of the Lerner, Faulkner, and Lambert trio and to truly get a clean slate he should go. Perhaps that's right. Fresh everything. I don't particularly have anything against Lambert personally, and he has said that he's noted that the original plan of trying to find bargain youth isn't going to work - so that does make me think he'd try a different approach which is obviously needed. But then again anyone can see what went wrong so maybe the club just need to completely wash the slate, rather than pluck a few weeds out to watch them grow back? I really would love to know what the players think.

Shit first half. Albrighton played well in the second. Subs should have come on earlier and we could have made an impact from some good play. Vlaar was solid, bertrand played well and the rest where a bit aloof. PS KEA played well and ill take a point any day from that.
