  1. That is not how oral sex is done, I've been told.
  2. Hopefully Arsenal have braced themselves for any bid from us, or it can get ugly fast. Or so I'm led to think, because why else would one need to brace oneself?
  3. That qualifying "might" makes that sentence pretty much an objective truth at this stage. Feeling pretty confident we will get in someone like JWP, at least. Hopefully both someone exciting AND a hell of a good buy pricewise.
  4. I haven't seen Ashley Young play in years. Don't know if I'm comfortable with seeing Ashley old.
  5. Nice one! A player like JWP does make sense in the Villa context, and a closer look does make JWP even more tempting. I find it comforting that we at least seem to have identified the type of player we want, even if JWP should prove to be more legend than reality as a Villan.
  6. Duly noted, mate. I'll be sure to remember that, nothing better than getting insight from a local when going to a new area.
  7. Nessie was one of many childhood obsessions, but have yet to actually travel to the Loch Ness/Inverness area. It is high on the list though, hopefully on a trip also containing a nice matchday experience at Villa Park.
  8. James Ward-Prowse has been known to the locals for many centuries, but it was only in 1933 he became a national celebrity, after a vacationing doctor managed to snap a photo allegedly showing the legendary midfielder's head and upper body breaking the surface of the local lake. It is speculated that the lake had a whole family of Ward-Prowses, and that extensive road building along the lake in the 1930s ruined the family's regular living area, making them homeless vagabonds. This can explain the increased number of Ward-Prowse sightings in the years after. This is taken from memory, so some details MAY belong to another myth.
  9. Hopefully him not being selected in the copa america squad gives him some of the same hunger that Jack have had these last years. Would be brilliant if he became an Argentine mainstay during his time at the Villa.
  10. As a Norwegian, I'm going to gonna have to say to Joshua King. Not even free, as a reserve. He's on a downwards trajectory.
  11. Just what I wanted to hear after pages of squabbling! Why can't everyone be as nice as you?
  12. I hope, when City's inevitable bid for Grealish comes, that we put in a cheeky bid for Foden in return.
  13. I don't like Bruno Fernandes either. In fact, every time he's taking a penalty and is about to do his absolutely stupid little "trippy step" or whatever the fluck that is, I secretly want him to stumble and fall flat, then the ground to rise up and somehow provide him with a good ass kicking before mysteriously stealing his underwear. Sometimes I wonder if this hatred might not be perfectly rational.
  14. Even if we're not after Ward-Prowse, this kmight just indicate that we're more than willing to shell out big for the player we want, even after securing Buendia. Probably wise to load up on celebratory gif's and toast-friendly beers!
  15. Indeed. I think that the "who is the better player now and in the future" is nothing but a fun ongoing discussion to have among fans (might be less fun if you're not a Villa fan!), but also quite inconsequential. Much more interesting will be to see how Jack and Emi, being somewhat alike as players and already better than almost anyone else in the world, can spur each other on to become even better versions of themselves. I have no reason to doubt either player's hunger to get better by their own volition, but still: having someone in the team matching their own level technically and tactically might just spark that extra bit of friendly rivalry or pure camaraderie, pushing them both up those extra %s in ability. The Villa squad might really become bigger than the sum of it's parts in the coming seasons if this carries on. I can't wait.
  16. Her certainly have a thing or two to teach our boys about the good, old "putting a juicy amount of fingers into ears" goal celebration. I say sign him up!
  17. I'd like to see Davis have a go as attacking midfielder. Either at us or on loan, if so a place where he gets plenty of playing time.
  18. Been ups and downs lately, but these last two games in particular makes it easy to be hopeful and excited about the summer and upcoming season. Let the good times roll!
  19. Bertie is like the footballing version of Björk.
