Might be worth ringing the ticket office closer to the game. I see we've got a VIP package with a ticket. It's £120 for the package which seems a bit steep. If the uptake isn't great, the might have some more available. Just a thought.....

Don't know what to make of tonight really. Yes Luton are going to be up for it and yes they're probably fitter than us, but to lose the way we did was slightly worrying. I thought we looked more positive after the changes. Grealish looked lively and Westwood was quality. If we would have had a recognised striker fit I think we would have won it. Less said about their second goal the better. Rather it happen now than in a few weeks time. Keep the faith!

Tonight just looks like they're running out of ideas to me. IMO they need more races. The banter between the three of them is always good and you are genuinely kept guessing whos going to win. Clarkson has tweeted next weeks episode is a "gem". Here's hoping!

I know who I'd rather have in our team at the moment, and its not the long haired Geordie. Carroll misses too many games and is living off the back of one good season. We could be saying the same about Benteke this time next year, but in my opinion he offers much more than Carroll who is an old fashioned centre forward who's good in the air, has a decent shot on him and not a lot else

Wouldn't be surprised if Sunderland get a cut of any deal. There was lots of add on's in the deal to bring DB9 here. As above post touched on, we signed him 2 seasons too late. He'll be a bargain for someone at £5m I think

Butterfingers....Do you remember his first half performance against Chelsea? One of the best displays I've seen from a villa striker until he was sent off (wrongly) he was immense that day and Chelsea couldn't handle him. That was the day I thought we had a special player on our hands. Disappointed he wants to go to Spurs. Thought he'd move for CL football at least.

Tried one on in the shop. I was a large last season and the same this season. This seasons shirt does fit better than last season but I wouldn't say it's slim fit, more like a tailored fit. Material is a lot less shiney than last season as well.

Sky Sports News have just had an interview with him. Dunne said Lambert favours youth over experience and that players like Given, Warnock and himself could have offered something last season. Also said that you "don't argue with the gaffer as it sounds like sour grapes" Nothing we didn't know already really, but think he does have a point. We can't rely on youth completely.

In summary * CB is happy at Villa * Dutch Journo misquoted CB * Good relationship with Lambert "like father and son" * Would move only if all parties were happy * Nothing will happen for another week. The way his agent was coming across, it sounds like CB is happy to stay next season, but will look to move in 2014 after the World Cup. Seems reasonable to me.

Coventry weren't in the Premier League when they moved to the Ricoh. They didn't fill it and couldn't pay the rent because of the loss of revenue. The difference is every tax payer paid for the Olympic Stadium, and West Ham are using it to clear their debts, whilst generating more income. It's a win win for them.

Anyone else find it strange that West Ham are now bidding record fees now that they've been "given" the Olympic Stadium? The whole thing stinks. They sell Upton Park to pay off their debts, and get a nearly new stadium for peanuts. All of a sudden they can afford to bid £15m for Carroll. All tax paying football fans are funding West Ham in a way. Totally ridiculous.

Con, bearing in mind Scotland are currently sitting 78th in the world rankings, why do you think Bannan isn't in the squad?It's fair to say you rate him, so if he's so good, why are uncapped players getting in ahead of him? You can't use lack of football as an answer as you previously said Bannan has played over 1,700 minutes of football.
