    This is a joke. They've had three home games cancelled in the last 12 months (us twice and Bolton last season) Also looking at the travel reports, I can't see any motorway closures around Wigan?? This stinks to me. This was our best chance of getting points over xmas.

    Yes I was in the lower north right in front of where that word removed came. It all stemed from when a fan made him come and fetch the ball about 10 mins before. He gave that fan a mouthfull then when the equaliser went in he did the same thing. About half a dozen fans, me included raced down to get at him but the stewards were there stopping us. Then at the end of the game he was at it again walking off the pitch. I complained to police and stewards. Not sure if anything will be done. More frustrated with not beating them at home again!!!

    I feel for the loyal supporters who go away regularly, but the club did say that this was going to happen for cup games. It's exactly the same for league games where people who have been away get priority. Just out of interest, do you think we would have reacted this way if we had drawn Ipswich away?? ... ... Thought not

    I'm sorry but I HATE this argument. What your saying there would be perfectly reasonable argument for 99% of people. Milner is a multi-millionaire several times over, so has financially secured his and his family's future for years and years. We've supposedly offered him a deal to make him the highest paid player in our history so he'd be earning 65-70k a week at a guess. There's only one word I'd use to describe jimmy and that's greedy.

    Did he not get a longer break due to his World Cup duties? This might explain why he has not played a part today as he may not be in the UK. But, the club want a player who might not be here come the start of the season with the new shirt on publicity shots that will be used for some months now and did we not get stung with Barry in that way in the past? I think you've just answered your own question there!!

    Yeah looks like Milner is on his way judging by the marketing shots. I wouldn't read much into Ash not being in them seen as he has a contract with adidas. All the players used wear Nike boots apart from Dunney

    I'd have thought that we would want AVFC on the jacket somewhere, otherwise, to a non football fan it looks like a nike jacket with a big lion on. Granted people might not know who avfc are, but having avfc on it somewhere is a must from a marketing point of view

    I quite like the AVFC on the back actually. It's nice but I prefer the white one that Hummel did in their last season. Was about the only decent bit of gear they did!

    Have heard that it might be Fiat. That would look nice on our shirt. Not sure how that would work seen as we seem fairly tied in with Seat.

    Villa 100%. I put so much more time and money into supporting the villa than england. Add into the equation, IF england win the world cup, the amount of plastic football fans around would be ridiculous I'd take villa winning either FA cup/Carling cup or Europa league over anything the national team might win.

    They couldn't even sell their allocation out. How poor is that!! IIRC there we're loads of spare seats when we played them at the sty as well. Can't say that I enjoyed a lot of the game today. The scum came for a draw and nearly got it. I was worried heading into the last 10 but it was a DEFINATE penalty. 10/10 for Milner for keeping his nerve despite carr trying to do a torres before. Summing up, I'd probably say it was one of the worst games of the season, but also one of the best!!

    Very professional performance, didn't really look to troubled at any stage. I always had the feeling that we could have gone up another gear if required. 2 away wins in 4 days is brilliant, even if we've probably played the two worst teams in the league. And to momo.....any win at this stage of the season is great, no matter how you play. Hope Venegoor of Hesselink is alright as well. I know they said he was knocked out and was on his way to hospital on the veetle feed.

    Couldn't agree more. I lost a LOT of respect for Everton tonight. The amount of time-wasting and feigning injury was a disgrace. Pienaar was the main culprit. It's not sour grapes on my part seen as we got the draw in the end, I just hate seeing teams do that.
