It really doesn't matter who are forwards are the service is so piss poor. One decent cross into a dangerous area in 45 minutes. This has been going on all season and for many seasons past. It amazes me that doesn't matter who the manager is we seem to have problems putting quality balls into and around the six yard and penalty spot. Jedinak needs to come off. I think he may have found a Villa player with one pass. Get the youngest on and give them a run. I don't mean Grealish because he has been just as bad most of the season. Maybe he owes a good game.

First half we had it right and if we had a goal scorer we would have been in the lead. Second half he left it too late to make changes. Overall, still a B+ so far. If he gets the signing right then we will make the play offs.

I don't believe he deserved a four year contract but I would have certainly given him a two year one. He has come into a team that had won 1 in 11, and helped turn it into one of the performing teams in the division. I see him as another Steven Davis, Craig Gardner, Liam Ridgewell, etc... who got slammed for a poor performance but go on to better things with other clubs. I feel he will do well given time. Jedinak was getting slammed early on and he is a seasoned professional but he is turning out okay. Let's not forget Baker who most didn't want to see ever again in a Villa shirt, he's not doing too bad either. It will take a little bit of confidence, or the right players to play with, and something will click it into place.

For Grealish's goal of course not that would be silly. But for the effort he puts in for the team before he was subbed yes. You think his work rate nd pressing has no effect on the opposition? It takes a team to win a game, and just like today, players will do the dog work to allow the more creative players come on and help secure the win. I don't think Ayew would have the time he had if the players were fresh as they were at the start of the game. Do I believe we can do better than Gardner? Or course, but I wouldn't totally write off the impact the is adding.
