Two tough games this nest week and it looks like we might have five defenders on the bench come Tuesday. We haven't played the same team in two games since the back to back wins against QPR and Burton Albion. This likely to continue come Tuesday with Bjarnson going off injured. It's tough to build a winning team when this constantly happens. Games haven't been pretty but we are showing some fight to see them through. Hopefully Bruce is starting to turn the mentality of the club around that will only be good for the future.

Three wins and clean sheets on the bounce even with all the injuries we are having. Not the prettiest at times but if the players had taken their chances and their keeper hadn't been so inspired this could/should have been 4 or 5. Under pressure at times in the second half but the defense held strong. Good job Bruce, lets take this into the next game that should be much tougher.

In your opinion. Villa don't have a divine right to win games and we are still trying to knit a team together that is constantly losing players through injury. The keeper has pulled off three class saves, shots cleared off the line and good opportunities not taken, On another day, we could be 3 goals up but I'm sorry teams aren't just going to sit down and let us win even if you wish they would.

The point is you're complaining as a Championship team we are struggling to beat a team who you feel are a division one team, yet when we were a Premier League team we lost to actual Div 1 teams. Football isn't always won by who looks best on paper.

I can answer that as I have managed for many years. The answers should be no but when the game is going players will drift out of position, and under pressure will act more instinctively, and that usually means more hoof ball than you would want. I coach tactics all preseason and then the first game starts and something happens they don't expect and things can very easily be forgotten and things can fall apart. A few more wins under their belt and a bit more self-confidence and he'll do less shouting. #UTV

Kodjia may score a few goals but he offers very little else. I can't believe he didn't release Adomah when he was clear. No vision what so ever. It's nice to be 1-0 up though.

Elphick getting out jumped for the corner. Baker a scapegoat when Chester has been the weaker player. Baker wouldn't of lost that header so easily. Very poor.

Chester has been the weaker of the two center backs but he drops Baker, I guess he doesn't wish to drop his captain.

it's odd that he hasn't commented about the defeat yesterday, I wonder if he is quiet because he feels he may have dug himself in a hole by defending Bruce. I fully believe that he felt yesterday would be the turning point for better things.

Plenty of boos at the end and well deserved. Simply not good enough with the players we have. It times to bind teams but we should be showing improvement but I don't see it.

Chester was at fault for the first two goals. For the third goal, he stands a guy up inside the box and didn't dive in like people says too much, the players shoots and goes through his legs but still gets crap for it. I think I saw four or five goals over the weekend go through a goalkeeper or a defenders legs, doesn't make them bad players all of a sudden. The guy has been a rock this season and it's Chester who has been wobbling of late and at big fault for a lot of the goals. I guess we must be going through the squad to find another scapegoat now Westwood has gone and Gardner isn't playing.
