Currently reading Bill Bryson's Notes on a Small Island. It's a hilarious, quaint and touching view of the U.K by an American who lived here for 20 years and did one last 'lap' before returning home to The States.

His persistance with the foot fetish thing is a bit creepy.
I put him down as 'Lost' It', which may be a bit sweeping, but then I watched Death Proof last night and it was **** appalling.
Not a textbook 'claim to fame', but I didn't think it warranted a new thread (arguable).
This morning I saw Bill Oddie in WHSmith's at the train station (Bristol).
Didn't have time to tell him about my sig on VT as his wife/lover dragged him away.
I used to watch Cagney & Lacey with my Mum when I was a nipper; probably the best program ever made. Tongue, cheek.
Also used to wag off college just to watch Ironside in it's late nineties lunchtime slot.
