Afterthought: If you were ginger, and went the way of Duncan Goodhew; would you buy a ginger wig? I sure as sh*t don't think I would. As a side note, when I was a scamp, my Mum & Dad told me Duncan Goodhew went bald becasue he ran into a tree. WTF!?

:notworthy: My Dad's band supported The Who, The Kinks, The Hollies, The Searchers etc back in the Sixties. They were called The Jones's, and were pencilled in to tour Germany with The Beatles... that is until my Dad met my Mum and quit the band to become an electrician.

I think there are comparisons to be drawn from earlier Aphex excursions (circa Selected Ambient Works 85-92); but in terms of longevity and eclecticism Sven Väth isn't fit to shine Mr James' shoes.

I might be stating the obvious here, but I'm fairly certain MO'N wouldn't have ruled the England job out so hastily if he wasn't aware there was some serious fundage available. I have absolute faith in the manager, whether this month is anticlimatic transfer-wise or not. I think there'll be serious activity in the summer, but January will only see a maxiumum of 2 'squad' players inbound; players of Barnes' calibre, who probably won't 'start' ahead of Petrov/Gardner on the right, but will break the starting 11 steadily and prove their worth in seasons to come.
