He looks clueless but, what he said tonight about the defenders is nothing new as far as that back line is concerned. They've had one good season and that was when the fans were missing. They kept 15 clean sheets? But, we had an outlet - Grealish. It's easier to defend when the ball stays at the other end of the pitch for longer periods of the game. But, when it's constantly in your penalty area you will eventually concede. When under constant pressure these guys are just not good enough to keep the ball out of our net.

Carney and now Dougie possibly in the same window together with Sanson being frozen out. Bring one in. What planet are they all on? Then, we've added nothing to our forward line. Also, we lose our new star defender to injury so allow one of our back-ups out on loan and leave ourselves with a 36 year old as back-up at right back. It's a complete and utter mess. This season as got off to such a bad start on and off the pitch that it feels almost like we are doomed to failure and relegation.

Basically sounds like Gerrard wants to keep him but it's out of his hands because the player only has a year left with us so maybe the powers that be want to cash in? The powers that be probably want to sell him because he's not getting picked for the team and had value to the club more so by being sold.

Get Bailey off that pitch NOW! He's knackered! McGinn made most tackles or something last season. This season he must have made the least. He's done nothing. Ramsey and McGinn have to go off with Bailey.

Just watch the players' body language when they haven't got the ball - it says it all.

Bailey is shite tonight. No creativity and no attacking threat. Looks knackered after 60 mins of a game he's hardly done anything in. Look at his work rate - it's terrible. Buendia has his chance but looks clueless. Watkins is at least making good runs now. Trouble is, he has nobody near him to help him.

I can see a lightweight Villa player not fancying the debacle facing them on Saturday so willingly getting sent off. My money is on Ramsey, McGinn or Mings.

Losing is part of the game. It is the way you lose that shows the fans what they are to expect. Put up a fight and give it a good go and fans have hope. Anybody watching this would only see Villa losing every game between now and the second coming.

Gerrard simply has to go. Either that or sack/sell over half the team in the next 24 hours because whilst this is the team playing under his management we are facing relegation. He is clueless as to how to prepare these players for a game of football. Sack him tonight. Tell the players that were looking at Pochettino and other big names etc who will all be watching on Saturday so they better put a shift in. It's our only hope of not conceding 10 and setting the all-time PL record for a defeat.

Watkins isn't trying. Buendia is out of sorts. Bailey too. McGinn'S form cannot be him losing his ability, there must be more to it. Digne isn't good enough. Konsa, Cash and Mings are doing their best against the onslaught. Emi and Kamara are our best players. Ramsey is lost.

I feel sorry for Villa season ticket holders and those attending on Saturday. They won't get to see the world's best striker because we're that shit Guardiola will give him the day off and probably play Rodri up front.

Not if you're playing to get your manager sacked. That does happen and I believe that's what we're seeing.
