  1. Its always been that way, so no Villa fans listen therefore no one rings in. He's a dinosaur anyway, and like the sound of his own voice.
  2. Maybe the club are trying to bury bad news. In all seriousness, I still quite like Baker, if he has a sustained run in the team without injuries he could do a job. Many hopped Clark gone last season, I still think Baker is a more natural centre back.
  3. Having looked at the stats and clips of Veretout and Gueye they look miles better in the middle and better balanced than Delph and Westwood/Sanchez. I think they can open up more formations as Delph and Westwood struggled when they we went 2 in the middle. They open up the double pivot, even a flat 4. We haven't had that since Petrov and Milner really.
  4. I went for pure centre mids I'm not sure Hendrie was one more a ACM like Merson who I never put either and would piss over Delph. Platt was too really. Not really he was box to box.
  5. Wigan used to do that every season...they eventually went,
  6. As it's been said before most people wanted Pulis ahead of Lambert...and given the choice I still would.

  8. Did their job IMO. We were fine with Bent until he stopped scoring goals, that's when it became a problem and we wanted rid. I think you answered your own point then.
  9. It's quite amazing how many people have written Libor off after just 8 premier league starts. He scored 3 goals in them 8 starts too.
  10. Players better than Delph I've seen. Sid Platt Richardson Garry Parker Townsend Taylor Barry Boateng Petrov Milner So that's it since 1989.
  11. Or to put it more accurately couldn't hold down a regular place when they in the team.
  12. After watching pretty much the same shitty Villa side for the last 3 years, how can this not be exciting?
  13. http://espn.go.com/chicago/photos/gallery/_/id/8932812/michael-jordan-50-greatest-moments
  14. Same here, although I got through season 2 I have no desire to watch series 3
  15. for me he wasnt even as good as a player of Hitzlsperger IMO he was better than Hitz, not that that's anything to boast about.
  16. He's clearly not a very clever guy. Nothing says this more than the hashtag #GodIsGood
  17. Apart from a few years in the 90s when it was United, its always and probably always be Liverpool, I hate that club to the core. West Ham however are up there. Having them shites running the club and somehow getting an almost free stadium and wanky fans puts them in the top 6 definitely.
  18. I wouldn't say nothing...but it's an average price for a striker imo
  19. I agree I think he would do ok short term. I wouldn't offer him a deal past that though even if he was a success.
  20. Yeah if we spend the money wisely improve I really don't care either.
  21. Apart from the 90m of his own he put into the club in the MON days.. Naff It means nothing if you don't invest in a team for 5 years and battle relegation year after year and cut more and more after a failed gamble.
  22. I would still prefer a centre back and use Richards as a right back...but that might not be the plan.
  23. Its nearly as technical as the west ham way! Or Spurs fans like good football...like no other teams fans do.
  24. Me too, but mainly because he's signed for the club I despise the most...and this hasn't helped.
