Lots of wildcards going about and I'll be holding mine so preparing for a potential bad week if Salah/KDB go off, they will be heavy captains and I have neither. Watkins > Nacho JWP > Jota Changes based on the Grealish news, 10 minute period aside last week we were awful and have been for a while. Davis and Trez are likely to start, think we get a pasting. I almost always pick a pen taker as captain so that leaves Fernandes or Kane. Don't love this but Kane is on form and Fernandes may well get a rest this weekend so Kane it is. Good luck!

Lack of numbers going forward is my big issue. We have become more solid defensively but lack any real threat without Jack in the team. When we have Watkins, Jack, Barkley, Traore up front in a 4-2-3-1 we are fine but then we changed to a 4-3-3 with Trez/Ghazi, Watkins, Traore and 3 CMs who don't seem to really want to break into the final 3rd much. This is similar to the Liverpool system but Pool push the wingers inside and the full backs up, we don't do that and all this creates is boring football where it goes wide and backwards on repeat. Last season we were trying to win games too often and now I feel without Jack we are just trying not to lose them. Smith needs to find a middle ground and way of playing because it's boring to watch, we were absolutely awful for 80 minutes on Sunday and it's been much of the same for the last 6+ weeks. The squad still lacks quality but I can't figure out what our attacking game plan is, I don't think we have one.

I'll look to get them out soon but they play in GW33 and I have 6 currently blanking so they may survive once more. I still have wildcard but waiting on news of the re-arranged fixtures and potentially another big DGW in 35 if they move the last few games about to let fans in.

Low owned because they are useless. Wanted to get rid of Calvert Lewin around end of December but Villa getting hit with covid and a bunch of fixtures called off made me hold him and I've kept him due to their extra game they have. Not sure that's worth it at this point. Will have a small green arrow by the looks of it but Lingard doing a lot of damage to that.

Could be a good week if we get some Digne/Calvert Lewin points. Ownership % on them is actually pretty low, hope I get a little something as I have zero West ham and a lot are going to still have them after last week.

Anyone else get the packet burst issue as well? Played 3 games yesterday and got it for 2 games, just stutters and lag. I killed someone off the drop and their death com was "My game lagging". I know it's not my end, the servers are awful. I think I'm probably done with this game, it's not been fun for a while now but struggling to find a replacement.

The SBMM in this game is stupid. I have around a 2 KD and my mates have between 0.6-1 KD and if they play with me they get put into diamond lobbies (once got put into a top 2% ranked lobby), it's not fun for me and it's not fun for them. I haven't spent a penny on this game so hoping something new comes out soon, I do love the battle royale formats though.

I'd like to say it would be nice to get 2 weeks off without having to look at FPL but International football is so boring and I'll be getting withdrawal symptoms by the end of the week!

He's unlucky with the pen. Kane messes it up but the only time you can slide like that in the box now is if you are blocking the shot and aren't near the player.

I've seen an Under 12s player hit the ball with more power than he does. Just a nothing player, the level is too high for him. He's out paced, muscled and skilled at every corner. Just play someone else. Dropping from Grealish to Trez is going from the best LW in the league to the worst.

Not bad, 70 with Kane (c) and Bale to go. This doesn't bode well for us though, none of my attacking players have less than 7 points

Yeh if you want to punt a bit I guess it's an option. Id be worried about him playing 20-30 mins and it's a tough game v Spurs in general.

Yeh nice score for me so far after the Brighton stack. I've sort of gambled on who I think wins outright, 3 x Leeds, 3 x Brighton, 3 x West Ham and then Bale/Kane. Will all go to pot once Arsenal and Villa win! If Grealish is back I actually fancy us to do okay, without him we look absolutely lost in the final 3rd.

I have Martinez as my only Villa defender and a clean sheet for us was hurting my overall rank. Lots must have double Villa defence. Playing my free hit next week so had to make a transfer in preparation for the week after that. Gundo > JWP.

Keeper tipped it over the bar and they took a freekick about 40 yards further up the pitch. That doesn't class as a chance created. Without Grealish, Watkins hasn't had a single big chance put on for him. I have no issue with Watkins even though he's not been great recently, need better around him. El Ghazi, Trez and Elmo as a 3/4ths of a wide supply line just don't cut it, we have nothing through the middle either.

Was offside in the build up. McGinn played the ball way too early to Watkins, who was offside, instead of running with it.

Luiz was the best midfielder, as he usually is. I'll repeat what I've said before, I have no idea what our best CM combo is but I know Luiz is part of it, so figure out the other 2. I think the other one will be Sanson sitting next to him and then we really need a creative CM.

Don't get me wrong he was poor but I also don't want him coming deep to get the ball like he was. We haven't created a single big chance for Watkins since Grealish was out.
