Maybe a bit aggressive but I'm still baffled they couldn't shift them from blocking a hotel and Old Trafford. I remember being in a police escort after an away game at Blues, we were just taken round in circles for about 90 minutes and that was after being locked in for an hour because they couldn't get the noses to leave.

They achieved something anyway, it made all the big news outlets even if the game went ahead. I never said I don't support the protest, I'm surprised that such a small amount of people can't be dispersed and they get the game on.

How have a handful of fans got this game called off. Police are soft in this country, get the water cannons out and get them gone. I'm all for what they are protesting about but it seems mad to me that it's caused the game to be called off when we are playing behind closed doors anyway.

He's not a youth kid by the way, he's 23. I like him as a player and the different option he can offer but he's not a lone striker in the system we play. We need another system if we want to play with Davis and Watkins, same situation with Wesley. He's going to have a battle on his hands to get any minutes next season with Wesley back, ideally he does go out on loan to get some minutes/goals and then returns the following season. If we get into the Europa League somehow next season then we will have a load more games to offer him but right now our focus is on the league and he's not going to get many minutes.

And that performance is why he won't be stuck out on the wing to make way for someone else. The best front man for our team is Watkins and that's where he will play. Long live King Ollie.

You add Davis in it completely changes the system we have used for 2+ years. We aren't going to do that just because he scored a tap in last week, we are playing well.

That was always the deal when he joined us. We are paying for him, if he's the best option he can play.

Yeh I agree, we need another system we can use for sure but I feel he's reluctant to try anything at the moment that might unsettle the defence that in general does so well. 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 with wing backs is what I'd like to see us try, it's the only way to get Wesley or Davis added to a line up with Watkins.

Because our wide players are our main outlets and a key part of our system that we have played for the last 2 years and we barely create anything through the middle. Barkley at least offers something through there and people are unhappy he is starting.

Yeh it was desperate but it's not how you start a match. You want to to go 2 up top you get outnumbered in midfield and its a lot harder when you don't have the ball.

As I said in the main thread, you can't play KD without shifting Ollie out wide and Smith clearly doesn't want to do that. Our team did okay last week, created a lot of chances. No silly pens or slips and we would have been fine.

It's a shame he cant stay fit because if he did he'd be able do that for another 6+ years at this level. Movement, touch and finishing is elite.
