  1. Baffling. Elmo isn't good enough for the Championship, I have zero clue how he's first backup.
  2. I think thats harsh, in real time the defender covers IMO. Looks bad on a freeze frame.
  3. We need Barkley in the AM role but also need a CM that can get the ball to him. Ramsey is isolated, until that changes Barkley wont help this.
  4. Because we can't play through the midfield. We don't want to pass it Nakamba and McGinn isn't miles better on the ball either. Forced wide and long. Need a better CM on than this, these lot aren't Leeds.
  5. Yep, I get it v Leeds. Still thought McGinn should have been dropped and not Luiz pre-game. This is a different game though, we should be controlling the ball, our 3 best CMs with the ball are on the bench.
  6. McGinn is miles better without the ball than he is with it. We need a proper composed CM on in this game.
  7. Depends what chips you have left, they are worth a decent chunk over the field if you play them well as most use them early. What's the points difference between 3.3m and 1m?
  8. Big bench boost GW so far. 77 with 3 to go today/tomorrow and another 14 to go midweek (although Barnes is almost certainly out). Dias/Stones double at the back was a great watch.
  9. His best place is where Jack plays, which isn't ideal for him.
  10. He is but all he had to do then was run in a straight line to confuse Elmo
  11. Maybe so, but Luiz generally keeps the ball with simple passes. McGinn has been giving it away cheaply for weeks trying stupid passes.
  12. Depends how we want to play. There's two holding type spots. Can go Luiz, Nakamba and 1 other but Id have gone Luiz, Sanson and Ramsey I think. Either way, Barkley and McGinn have been miles off it for me.
  13. How you stick with McGinn over Luiz, baffling.
  14. I think he starts today. McGinn, Luiz, Sanson as a 3, Barkley and Traore behind Watkins sort of as a narrow 4-3-2-1. As much as Barkley and McGinn are off form it's pointless play El Ghazi and Trez, they just aren't good enough to have an impact on the game.
  15. There's no gambling aspect tied to the official FPL, if there was then premier league players would indeed be banned from playing. Smith is 100% correct to ban them as this clearly is a way of information leaking, I imagine they just return next season under fake details.
  16. Smith also said he didn't feel right in training on Friday so they pulled him out. If that's the case, why did I hear the rumour about him having a broken leg (I assume this is incorrect but still valid that he was injured) on Thursday night and why did the Villa physio transfer Grealish out his FPL Team at 7am Thursday morning? I don't think he trained Friday at all. For some reason they aren't telling the truth, I don't know why but it makes me feel like they are trying to play down what could be a big issue. They also have some history for this, the Barkley "Almost ready to play" lark went on for weeks and weeks.
