    It’s be nice to get some decent comp/cover for Dougie. Perhaps the Palicious links are just that. Other suggestions could be Seiwald at Leipzig or Soler at PSG.

    I think we should do a traditional design for next season, in celebration of 150 years and then do a new, more modern one for the following season. Gives the traditionalists something this season and if we launch the newer look badge early enough, enough time for them to get used to it before we adopt it 25/26 Best of both worlds

    I’m not sure if we’ve had a renegotiation with Digne but his wage is now reading as reduced to 120k from 160k on Capology. Our wage bill is getting hefty though now (McGinn 120k, Martinez 120k, Mings 100k, Pau 100k, Bailey 100k, Tielemans 150k, Carlos 100k. You’d imagine Konsa is now on about 80k, same as Cash and Watkins at least on par with McGinn, if not more.

    Other options at RB are Amar Dedic at Salzburg and Vanderson at Monaco. If we ship out Digne I’d like us to go for Maatsen at Chelsea. Someone to replace Chambers and Donk in January would be Geertruida at Feyenoord. Can cover RB/CB and Kamara at DM.

    That line up allows us to shift across if either cash or Digne are bombing on, with Pau dropping in at left back and Konsa doing the same the other side, assuming Carlos plays centrally. Feel for Xaniolo as he played well mid week

    Gourna-Douarth at Salzburg looks a good prospect, I’d like us to take a look at him.

    Something akin to this, with a similar styled lion to the horse would be nice, perhaps have a wider border to incorporate the Prepared motto or 1874.

    Love the design work on the last few badges/shields, some peeps got skills. For me though the lion lets all of them down in its current guise. If the rumoured budget is true I’d like us to chuck a fair bit of it at redesigning him. At the moment his back feet look like a steam roller has squashed them.

    For me it’s all about the lion, it needs to be redesigned, modernised and not look like a cartoon or a bear or a flat footed house cat. It should be aggressive and also have the right number of claws, 5 on the front and 4 at the back.

    I thought he played ok, seemed nervous 1v1 but there were opportunities for him to get in behind and he seemed to hesitate, so was a yard or too back after McGinn played him in a few times. I like him, there’s potential there I think

    Almada had a good game last night, scored one, assisted two. Would fit the LM/LW role well and be good competition for J. Ramsey

    I think we could sort our squad out relatively cheaply and effectively. We don’t have to Chelsea it! ST/IF we could get someone like Iglesias or Gouiri. For RB we could get someone like Foyth or Geertruida (if we’re after a defensive minded RB). If not then Anau Martinez or Fresneda perhaps. Personally I’d like an attacking midfielder that can cover both flanks and provide competition mainly for Ramsey, perhaps someone like Goncalves but a cheaper alternative, perhaps Cherki, Almada or Lindstrom. Need someone like Zaniolo but more left side focussed. I liked Schelderup before he went to Benfica, perhaps a cheeky loan offer with a buy option? Mike Tresor at Genk had a good season at LW last year (8g & 21a) and would be cheap as chips.

    How are we looking with regards to HG players though? If we include Mings, we’ve got Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Chambers, Watkins, J Ramsey (is he still classed as an U21?)

    Would support them if we signed them but in my opinion they’ve both never really lived up to their hype. Personally I’d rather we went for someone like Goncalves and/or Gouiri out on the left and someone like Kudus for the AM role, although it looks like that’s going to be Zaniolo now. As direct competition for Watkins I’d like us to get Jonathan David but that’s wishful thinking on my part.

    I’m not convinced by Fati, Felix or Torres. They’re all on shedloads and I think if we shopped a bit smarter there’s equal talent out there for less outlay.
