    Not sure about the Morgan links to be honest as he seems awfully similar to Philogene, who we’ve just sold and has better stats in the Championship. Out of all the Middlesbrough players on the day I was most impressed by their young forward.

    I may get shot down in flames for this but I’d rather we cashed in on Bailey and/or Ramsey than sell Luiz. Bailey I’d replace with Bakayoko, younger, better dribbler and similar stats wise. Wide left is where I’d like us to splash the cash in the Summer, a Xavi Simons/Florian Wirtz equivalent out there could really help push us on. I’d like us to look at Veerman at PSV but not as an out and out replacement for Luiz, I’d buy him as Luiz comp/cover and keep Luiz. For me Bailey and Ramsey would be easier to replace.

    Will be interesting to see If we go for any given f the young South American talent as Chelsea and City Group seem to be doing. Players like Guilherme, Moscardo, Estevao might be the next best thing but I guess it’s a massive risk. Most have reasonable release clauses as well. Interesting times ahead

    It’s a hard pass on ESR. Too injury prone and so 21/22.

    Glad we’re give him a chance as I’ve always thought he was more a wing back when we were using fullbacks and didn’t quite fit in as a result. With Emery now at the helm KKH’s athleticism and technical ability could work well on the right hand side. Interesting point he played LB for Plymouth a fair few times too.

    I’d go for Joey Veerman from PSV for the Luiz role, regardless if we sold Luiz. He’s quality. Ideally I’d like Luiz AND Veerman. Get in Vermeeren for Kamara cover and we’d be good to go, cost us between 40/50m what with the 13-17m release clause for Vermeeren.

    Out of all of our current 1st eleven Luiz and Kamara IMHO are unsellable, FFP or not. They are what makes us tick. We should be getter cover in for both them, not thinking of selling them, which I don’t think the club are going to do, it’s just with all this talk of FFP restraints, they might be tempted. We don't have to spend a fortune to improve the team though, there are bargains to be had, even in January.

    Isn’t he on about 180k a week though now, not sure we’d be able to match that as it would make him the highest paid player at the club. (Even more than Digne)

    If we’re after another left footed winger then Johan Bakayoko would be it for me. Doubt we are though as we’re stacked there.

    Aren’t all the social media thumbnails round, surely it would make more sense to have a round badge with the central circle and lion being used on X and the like. Personally I think it would look good with a claret lion and white circle as the lion would really stand out.

    He’s a prospect for sure, perhaps a signing we’d make a few years down the line to then send him to one of the V Sports teams for a year on loan.

    I think he’d do well in the premier league but people are just put off with regards to the price that Lille would want for him.

    I was putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5. He’s still an U21 player so wouldn’t help us out HG wise even if we did bring him back, we’ll not at the moment anyway.

    Wondering if we’re getting Philogene back as Hull are looking at loaning Carvalho from Liverpool and he plays predominantly on the RW, cutting in like Philogene. Makes sense for the homegrown quota.

    I’ve said it before but why does our badge have to have only one or two elements to it, why can’t it have more. Other badges have lots of details to them, Liverpool’s for example. It doesn’t stop them utilising elements individually. I get that people like the simple reworked shield designs but they’re just a West Ham shield with a lion in there IMHO. I think the badge redesign is a complete shit show and a real missed opportunity for the club to create something iconic that reflects Aston Villa in the best possible way.

    They are but it ain’t Dendonker, he’s 18 and plays for Royal Antwerp.

    I‘’m not so sure on this as Tielemans and McGinn are both better forward of the pivot. When we’re without either Luiz and Kamara we struggle. Would be nice to have another CM playmaker and DM in the squad.

    Amine Gouiri I really think this guy would be perfect for us, knows loads of our squad from his French national team time. He’s prolific as a CF and more than decent at LW too. His numbers aren’t as good this year but he’s not been playing as much so Emery could work his magic.
