  1. Trust me on this......Im 40 years old and have driven well over 1.5 million miles in more cars than I could ever count. You just need to listen to the engine its telling you what you need to know.
  2. It does not make a sound if you do it right. I used to drive for a living and jumped in and out of up to 10 different cars a day. Once you are moving you don't need a clutch. As long as you don't stop moving its fine. I had a clutch go halfway back from Bedford to Redditch but still got home or after 2 or 3 hundred miles I just got a bit lazy some days, if high powered then the clutch is heavy after hours and hours so made sense to me.
  3. If you can change gear without using the clutch up or down then you are going the right speed.
  4. Trousers will disappear. That will be very handie for carrying 2 cups of tea and some donuts ! You need a "Pocket tie", you know like...erm a tie with pockets.
  5. Stay on Target ! Stay on Target 1 This is gold leader...
  6. Imagine how much money world wide is wasted on HR departments ? If it needs 1 person to do the "job" they get 3 just so the dippy birds have someone to talk to. It's a paid gossip show with virtually no visible output. Then THEY go on maternity leave.
  7. Huh? I think that kind of proves my point tbh.
  8. Just been given an Ipad2 from work. WTF is wrong with it, who designed the OS ffs. To use it you must go against every in built human instinct you know.
  9. Its the same as wetting the bed, most people grow out of it on their own. I have never met anyone who has gone the wrong way to be honest, intelligence is on the rise I would have thought. Advances in science and education help also long term but the bottom line is there is no god, that is a fact and I think even religious people know this but their unfortunate upbringing has brain washed many adults for life which is a shame.
  10. Nano technology will mean people will live until about 150 - 200. The poor will rise up throughout the world at some point due to the rising imbalance between the haves and have F-all. Could be driven by health or food issues I suppose. Certain areas of cities will be walled off in the UK to keep the poor people out. Trousers will be a thing of the past.
  11. Sometimes happens but I cannot blame them for not bothering anymore, it's not a argument they can ever win. + I am genuinely scared of really religious people, something is not quite connected correctly. If they can argue about believing in nothing and force small children to do the same they are capable of anything.
  12. My main thing as a lad, that was. What do you make - Planes? Tanks? Pictures required. A small collection of pictures of past and current projects. I had about 30 spare sim cards to make something with and this is what I came up with. Thoughts ? DropB Er, it's very... impressive. But TBH I'm far more interested in PussEKat's WWII stuff. Sorry! No worries, boring if we all like the same stuff. I did the WWII planes and tanks when I was a kid so I needed a challenge.

  14. That just maybe the funniest post I've read on VT They are not exactly money rich there so I suspect its a no go until they have money. In famine affected areas the Holy Communion could be looked on as a bit of a piss take to be fair. Got bread ?
  15. Of course not. The fundies would use the latter argument (or just deny it ever happened), the non-literalists would claim that God has spread life throughout the universe, which just goes to show how groovy he his. Busy bloke then ain't he what with giving AIDS to little kids in Africa and arranging the Batman Cinema thing....phew one wonders if this guy is for real at all. (Don't forget he is everywhere )
  16. If the little Mars thing finds evidence there was life there would that be the push that finally gets people to realize there is no God type person ? Just a thought really, I doubt it but it could help a lot of people to re think their mistake ? It will blow the "Earth is special" thing out the water for a start (On the 10th day I placed some small organisms randomly around the universe to test faith, I can see it now :-) )
  17. You see ... because I'm not a druggy, I'm ill-equipped to argue this but let's just say I find it very difficult to believe that something like alcohol, where 1 drink does you zero damage, is 'the most dangerous drug out there' when people have taken the likes of E or acid and literally dropped dead from it. Now if you're talking about the wider discussion of alcohol abuse where it takes years of over-indulgence ending up with liver damage then you're not comparing apples and apples. Per unit, I don't accept that alcohol is as dangerous as any of them. I include cigarettes in that. Every single cigarette does you a degree of damage. That's not true of alcohol which itself only becomes dangerous through consistent abuse. You don't need to be a druggy to understand. Ask a recovering alcoholic about having the "one drink" ?. I have seen this argument from all sides (I have lived in a pub / lived through the rave thing in the 90's in the UK / lived in Holland for 12 years which basically runs on drugs / buyer and seller of many things over that time). From my experience over the last 25 years of going out etc alcohol is by far the most dangerous. I understand why if people have no knowledge of a subject they go for the easiest option becasue drugs is ingrained by the government and media as bad (If they say jump do you jump ?). I have been in the Amsterdam Arena with 50 K people who know I am 100 % correct :-) + why is Holland the best place to bring up kids in Europe but awash with drugs. Someone please explain that little gem also ? I am not having a go it's just something I know about. Just my view built on experience and facts over 25 years.
  18. Frankincense or a AVFC Mirror for the little geezer.
  19. Alcohol is the most dangerous drug out there. The party drugs are basically harmless (Weed / XTC / Coke) etc. Its the same rules as alcohol, be responsible and know the score. I have seen people have 10 pills in a night and be right as rain in the morning. The people who are against drugs are pretty likely to have either no clue at all / never touched them / don't understand at all but are media led. Think about it, how many jobs are created / how much tax wasted / how many prison places taken up / Police employed to ban stuff that that keeps them all in a job ?
  20. ^^^^ Nice one. thanks for the info. I might actually have a go, for 10-20 quid I might as well. Cheers and I will let you know how I go..... (I still think the Ewok idea is a winner though :-))
  21. I tried that as well but the garden I chose was just to big so I gave up. Getting the posts in the ground in the summer is a joke as well becasue the ground is so hard. I might try just around a small rockery or pond first first. Well yeah, you've got to go with a sensible size for your first plot. Don't go jumping in to a big job, especially if you're using tanalised wood as the costs will quickly mount. On the bright side it's legal to have 5 weed plants per household here. Amazing really, 1 government on the planet with a brain as far as I know.

  23. Im with you there 100% From the POV of the camera would it be as simple as doing the perspective lines from that fixed point. Once the lines are down then work it from there. I have no clue at all but just think out loud, how would I start drawing it on paper etc.
  24. Zhan_Zhuang : Pretty cool hobby, never even considered that was a hobby tbh. I Really like them though, cool as ****. I know I would just build an Ewok tree house around it with little fiber optic lights though and on one hand that would look ace at night but the downside is it would probable kill it I suppose. What's the deal, how much time do you need to invest in that hobby and what are the costs ? Just out of interest really, I think I have enough to do already :-)
  25. I like a few things really I suppose :- 1. Making Scale Models for myself (Kits). Takes a long time but keeps me busy and it's good as you can paint a few things and go back later to carry on. 2. Making Models out of stuff (e.g SIM cards / Bank Cards). This is a business idea really but my first effort is in reception at a Mobile Network. 3. Reading. Fiction and No fiction. 4. Learning Stuff. I am always either doing a on line course or teaching myself something (e.g Learning Maya 2012 at the moment (3 D Animation) 5. The Standard PC games (FM2012) 6. PS3 (Mass Effect 3 / Gran Turismo etc) 7. Films / Series as everyone else I suppose. 8. Small amount of regular amount betting on the football every week. 9. AVFC, constant thread through ones life. A few more but these are the time eaters at the moment.
