He is just a frustrating player, one week he can be phenomenal, then the next week he is dire. But he works he socks off!
-
Yeah, if it comes to the end of the window and no one else comes in then I will be puzzled! It's risky as we potentially have a 55 game season. Lost 2 first team players for the season. Phil will probably be out a while, we do have players to come back but they need to be eased back in otherwise we risk then relapsing! Let's see how the month unfolds.
-
I honestly thought that some of our younger players would be playing in the conference league, the rate we are losing players to injury our 1st team players are going to be earning their corn! Disappointed with this news!
-
What are we doing? The rate we are losing players, would rather keep Jaden, would defo get conference league minutes! What are we doing??!!
-
That is what really *** me off! Letting a player hobble off with an injury only risks further damage! See it time and time again!

Oh FFS grammer police alert, this is what I detest about online forums/ social media etc. It was tounge in cheek. I don't think he should be anywhere near the 1st team and is the 1st position I would upgrade on. I have much better things to do then argue with people on a Sunday.
-
You need to read my comment, not saying get rid I'm saying upgrade. He is best as a sub or back up..... Jeez, some people are so bloody touchy!
-
OK, he is the weak link in the team. Would rather see him as sub or back up. RB is one of the weakest links (as is GK if Martinez gets injured)
-
What? He is rubbish! We need to push on he needs replacing! He doesn't get into any other top 7 side!
-
Saved! Love the reaction!
-
I said the same!

100%! If a club doesn't want to pay out valuation then they can jog on. I must admit the buyback is a tad bit high but City did this with Luiz, but it went up each season, in all likelihood we won't activate this, but if he comes good then it's an option. Just a way to get around FFP!
-
Cash RB and Torrres LB, that would be awful. Would go with the second option. Just shows we do need to bring in another head into the defence now with the colossal loss of Mings.

We really need an alternative to Cash, he is going to cost us a few points. Best to flush the turd before he stinks the place out.
-
Will probably pull his ACL when getting out the chair after signing his contract anyway

Yep, no matter how much you polish a turd, it is still a turd

I think it showed that there is a team sprit, not something we have seen at Villa for a while as there has always been the odd rotten apple in there! Mings is Mr Aston Villa, leader on and off the pitch, huge blow to lose him. I am sure Unai knows that we need to strengthen in key areas and we will see new additions. Was just a bad day. Let's roll out sleeves up and go again
-
Still think we need a clinical striker that can push Watkins. But that is going to cost some money. Newcastle spent a hefty sum on their new forward but will reap the benefit this season. Will be better investing in a RB possibly another CB now. But to push on we do need another forward.
-
Gutted for Mings, fingers crossed that he comes back from this!
-
Everyone has a bed day at the office, I think Uni has a free pass for getting us 7th after the s#%tshow that Slippy G left us in. Yes the performance was poor, I think the injury to Emi knocked some of the moment out of the players then after Mings there was a definite drop off. Let's hope we see a more improved performance next week!

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kane sign a new contract to be honest.
