Well we need 4 CBs and I'd say Konsa will be 3rd choice going into next season behind whomever we sign. He's still young so has a chance of forcing his way back into the team. Competition for places is what we want and we saw lots of different players starting games under Gerrard. Hause being injured probably cost him some game time too.

I really don't think we'll ever play with a back three. We've.a CDM who can drop into the backline if needed during a game. Bassey and Tarkowski would be two great additions to the squad for sure though

I hope we announce Suarez soon. Perfect player to add to the squad for 12 months, especially with 5 subs next season

Well Burnley turned it down, West Ham valued him at £31m as they bid that. He's available for free now. He'll be great business for whomever he joins

West Ham had bit £31m for him in Sept 2020 so are obviously fans. If we sign Bassey and we've Kamara. I think experience in Tarkowski would be a good balance to that

That's the entire point, he's in the peak years now for a CB and he has lots of Premier League experience. Seem to be a big personality and leader by all accounts too.

The stupidest thing I read on Villa talk is people commenting on a players individual wage and completely ignoring it's all an annual cost to Villa which is is wage PLUS transfer fee over life of contract. I would prefer a proven ball playing CB instead of Tarkowski. I'll have no issues if it's Hause out on loan and Tarkowski in and that's our CBs solved. He's a quality defender, massive amount of experience and he'd have a great partnership with Mings I'd say. No issues with this one especially as Gomez is not leaving Liverpool by sounds of it.

Coutinho is in £125k per week. We also pay a lot of bonuses based in league position and qualification for Europe etc.. so players can earn like 30% more in total on top of their base pay
