Kiyotake only moved to Nuremberg and signed a 4 year deal last summer. It's basically the same situation as with Benteke for them. There is no way they will let him go without a big fee, I think Belhanda would actually be more likely.

I don't think Dunne was ever in his plans and would have been told to find a new club if fit, like the other high earners. He has signed Okore instead of an experienced Dunne replacement. I think he always intended to risk it with only one senior CB last season and will gamble on that again this season.

Yes, his footwork is much better than Crouch. Tore Andre Flo is the best comparison I can see.

I don't think anyone actually knows what he would expect wages wise. If a player thinks they are worth of 10 mil, don't you think they'd thing they were worth high wages also? Not saying that is an exact science obviously. He's coming from France, they're paid buttons there in terms of what PL players are paid. Delfouneso probably makes the same as him as it is So why was Sissoko asking for 70k and out of our price range coming from that league?

He only had 12 months left on his contract so the fee was always going to be lower than AaB would have wanted.

More people wanting to praise him for behaving like any decent human being would do on 70k every 4/5 years - not 70k a week. I really do despair. He did nothing last season to deserve any credit. He did nothing last season to deserve abuse and people are pointing that out. There is no need for you to jump in with negativity.

If he had a poor season playing out of position under 3 different managers then perhaps we got him at a good time. When his stock is low so to speak. Hopefully he can get settled here and push on.

Someone leaked the Everton badge design process and every step was about working out what 'clutter' they could cut out to keep it as simple as possible.

We made the change to our badge. Simplification was what everyone was doing. Chelsea did it, Spurs, Arsenal. I don't know what this has to do with Everton either. It was their decision on what to do, it had nothing to do with Nike, Nike don't like having 'clutter' around a badge, like having to sew on a motto at the bottom. It slows down their production line. When they did the Everton deal this season they put pressure on Everton to simplify the crest. When we signed up with Nike we also got a new simpler crest for the club.

That's odd. I have an Xbox and whilst I did get a RROD a few years back I just emailed Microsoft and they sent me a carry box with a mailing stamp. I sent it away and the Xbox was returned a week later with some free Xbox live vouchers. I haven't had an issue with it since.

Cardiff were well organised team rather than a collection of star players. They had the best defence in the league and their goals were spread throughout the side without relying on one player to score for them. If they can add a sprinkling of quality (I think Bent would be good for them) I could see them have a solid season and finish around 12-15th.

Maybe you are right. Liverpool play with stars on their Europe kits but drop them for the PL. Still, they had a hand in simplifying the badge to make it easier to print and they have done it to Everton this season.

It's hard to know. I am going to wait and see how we are performing this season. If the defence is still conceeding regularly then we will have another season of struggle but with a full season behind him Lambert may have made the improvements required over the summer break.

I really miss being treated like shit I miss kits that don't look cheap. I miss kits you can wash and not worry about any damage. Nike are shit. They didn't give a **** about us, just giving us a colour change template of their bigger contracts and delivering it after the season had started. The worst thing about them was making us put the European Cup star into the badge instead of above it (to save their printing costs) implying that we will never need to add a second star in future.

Livingston, Wycombe, Colchester and Norwich all had bollocks defenses when Lambert was in charge. I dont think we will be any different in the long run. I dont think he knows how to organise one. I think it is more that he plays an attacking style that leaves the defence exposed. Not so much that he can't organise them.

new wilshere! must mean he is massivley over hyped, goes past two men then gives the ball away all of the time, creates an assist every ten games and score every 20 games. the next big thing my arse. wilshere is bollocks, if crowley is anything like wilshere he really is nothing to worry about. I bet you wouldn't be saying that if we were signing him!

Yes, we will make frustrating rookie mistakes again next season and we will all tear our hair out at times but we will have exciting times as well. Lets hope for more of the latter than the former.
