  1. I think Jack is more likely to sign a new contract than leave.
  2. Something has been going on every summer for the last five years matey. Jack leaving in any of those summers would make perfect sense, let's face it, we were shite. Now, we are good, and he leaves? Doesn't make sense for me.
  3. Someone said previously, it's the Villa fans that are giving this story the most air time, I wouldn't disagree.
  4. This is a key, underrated and under-discussed point. So Liverpool want McGinn, great. Does McGinn want Liverpool? There are obvious benefits to joining the clubs that already compete at the top, but there is very little coverage of why players would want to be at teams who are striving to compete. Players at Leicester seem content; will Declan Rice definitely want a move away from a progressive West Ham? It's exciting at these teams. I would imagine a real culture of togetherness and determination to do something special. I'm not sure you're getting that at the teams at the top.
  5. Hoop Collective, The Real Ones, The Mismatch, The Low Post, The Bill Simmonds Podcast.
  6. So pleased for you guys! Hope you go for Cade or Suggs. Podcasts I've listened to today said Detroit is open to trading down - surely not?!
  7. Lopetegui turned down Spurs too. It's beyond parody at this point!
  8. Could you stick him in a Blues kit and he'd make it look good?
  9. I definitely didn't, interesting how people expect different things I guess.
  10. "hits the ground running and outperforms expectations". You expected Martinez to tie our clean sheet record? You expected Watkins to get 14 goals and five assists? You expected Cash to go from right back in the Championship to a consistently good right back in the Premier League? Mings - if you expected him to have the impact he did in the Championship and to then go on to play for England, can you let me know this week's lottery numbers please?
  11. Ah okay... Martinez, Watkins, Mings, Cash, McGinn. I could go on, but I think that's a pretty good starting point.

    The NSWE Board

Purslow is minority owner, isn't he? I wonder how much that impacts on the decisions making process of his?
  13. Why would you not name names? In case they are reading this?! Might explain the shit show of performances so far I guess.
  14. This is absolutely brilliant. They checked with many sources? Those being FootballInsider, TeamTalk, Teletext, Delphino, General Krulak and David Sullivan's son, I assume? Complete bollocks. Who reads / believes this shite? On topic, Buenos Dias Senor Alvarez!
  15. I'll check these out when I've finished work. Cheers bro! (Giannis looks so happy in the scrren shot!)
  16. It was the first game I'd ever watched live and in it's entireity, so I was just curious what made it fantastic. No worries. UTV x 2.

    Louie Barry

He's too old for Adam Johnson comparisons.
  18. Was just looking for a chat about what you thought about their game was fantastic. No drama if you don't want to. No need for the flippant response either, but each to their own. Have a nice evening mate.
  19. Why do you think they were fantastic? They barely beat a team with missing two of its three best players, (Harden was woeful) and its three point machine having an absolute mare. Bucks should have been comfortably the better team. Holiday was poor apart from a streak at the end, PJ Tucker gave up 40+ points on Durant again whilst offering nothing in offence, Middleton was okay. Giannis of course was brilliant and Pat Connaughton gave some good minutes, but overall, they scraped it. I reckon if Durant's feet were two sizes smaller Bud is looking for a new job today.
  20. https://www.espn.co.uk/olympics/basketball/story/_/id/31680974/miami-heat-bam-adebayo-commits-play-usa-tokyo-olympics-agent-says Some serious players heading over there. Bam Adebayo, Dame, Devin Booker, Jayson Tatum, Bradley Beal, Draymond Green. I've read that Steph wants in too. Not quite the dream team, but not far off!
  21. Cheers @hornso. My son and I stayed up and watched the game, finishing at 0545! The game was lost in James Harden being too laissez faire with the ball and Joe "Joey Buckets" being utterly abysmal from three. I think this did evidence that if healthy, the Nets would have won the Championship this year, but all teams have had health issues. Next year is the one! Really pleased for the Bucks though. Obviously the Villa connection is great, but also for the way they have constructed this team. Giannis sticking with them when the vultures were circling, (Miami, I'm looking at you!), is also a great story. I'd like to see Phoenix win it now. A brilliant story for CP3. Giannis will have many more opportunities, I'm not sure CP3 will.
