Im not so sure, I don't think he is consistent enough, for both Norwich and qpr you could see him do absolutely nothing which was covered by then scoring a screamer. He's spectacular and unpredictable, i think it's something we lack in the middle of the park, i'd take him

Good post, i agree with all of it, we're rotten to the core and have been for years, it's gone on for far too long, my support will never waiver but something needs to change, we can't just avoid relegation each season

Ahh the joy of opinions. Townsend is one I would love to see us sign to be honest. I think he would be a realistic signing, who would give us a different option in wide areas. He is by no means a world beater, but for the level we are at/trying to get to, I think he would be a fine signing. I agree with you, i think he's done at spurs to be honest and i'd take him

I'd snap their hands off for 3-4m for him, not even close to being a premier league footballer, how he's conned a living for this long is a mystery to me

Austin doesn't have benteke's all round game and his finishing isn't as good as benteke's but it is good, i don't think he's an adequate replacement in my opinion

One thing is for sure that when he leaves this summer, we won't find anyone anywhere near as good to replace him, that is for sure in my opinion

He's our best left back by a country mile, he can't cross but boy can he defend, he's tigerish and determined and i think he can deal with arsenal's attacking threat

He has extraordinary ability on the ball, he can beat players for fun but he seemed to lack an end product, i think he'll play in the premier league eventually
