  1. Have you seen him play? Such an accomplished young player, great going forward and defensivelyNo I've never seen him play bar a few minutes when he came on as a sub. I don't understand how he can be classed as a great signing when he has barely played. I'd much rather sign a more proven player at left back and have Kinsella as back up.I've watched him develop since he was about 16 years old, i'm convinced he'd be a great signing on a free, best young left back in the countryWell in fairness I've heard many young players be hyped up and then turn out to be not upto it. As I say I think we need proven quality and not players with potential that have proved nothing. So have i, trust me, proven quality costs more and he's got so much potential, it's a no brainer on a free in my opinion, name a better attainable left backYeah proven quality costs and I'd want us to be spending whatever it takes unless we have a similar kitty to the past few seasons then I'd be happy enough to sign a young prospect on a free. Agreed

I'm not being funny, but you have a record of hyping up players to ridiculous levels who turn out to be bang average at best and woeful at worst. Name a better young left back in this country

Kinsella won't make it at this football club in the long term

  6. 2.5m for weimann, i'd snap their hands off On balance Vardy is better, he's quicker and creates more chances/assists for others. But still, Vardy isn't a very good player and objectively worth around £5m at most. Agreed with this

  8. Agreed, both would be great acquisitions for us, both on frees as weĺl
  9. Even if it's true about being after Trippier? While he looks a pretty decent right back, I'm not sure he has that extra attacking intent ideally needed for a RWB (not seen loads of him to be fair) While I mentioned earlier in the thread Richards should never have tried for CB so early in his career while he was being very effective for club and country at RB, going purely by speculation it looks like CB is possible and also not with a back 3. I thought he was brilliant at centre back when he was 17, was a joy to watch him, so dominant in the air
  10. Agree with you completely mark, it's a signal of intent from the club
  11. Apparently remy is off to west ham, he would've been an option to replace benteke if he leaves in my opinion
  12. We won't sign cabaye, he's out of our league unfortunatelyIt's a sad day when Crystal Palace are regarded as a league above you. You don't think he's out of their league as well? I do
  13. Agreed, i think he's a terrific player, would be a great signing
  14. We won't sign cabaye, he's out of our league unfortunately
  15. I think he stayed too long at this club, he's a good player, industrious and hard working but he was never going to make it here, good luck to him though, he'll have a good career no doubt
  16. I agree with this, i think it's a terrific signing especially on a free
  17. Great signing if true, he was terrific as a young player, looking forward to seeing him in the shirt
  18. IMO Grealish is our best homegrown hope for the foreseeable. After that, Robinson, Toner, Green, Hepburn-Murphy, and Suliman have a chance of becoming Premier League players. They probably won't all make it at that level, but they are the prospects with the potential to do so imo. I agree with you
  19. He is a good player, inherited some traits from his dad, he's a good passer and got a good football brain but i doubt he'll make it here
  20. In my opinion, none of kinsella, sellars or calder will make it here but they will have good careers in the game but that's only my opinion
  21. I can't comment on the first part of your post but yes i think we have let a lot go this year but the majority of them were nowhere near good enough in reality.
  22. It does sometimes happen when young players have been let go by other clubs
  23. He got released by southampton and we picked him up Was about to say the same with him supposedly a good prospect. I'd heard about Alfie Crooks too. Is there any write up about the leaving players? There's just a list of the released players on the os which is more than there normally is
  24. Quite a few academy players have been released today including: craig hill, ryan strain, isaac nehemie, alfie crooks, courtney wildin, harry lewis, dylan forth, graham burke, harry lewis, daniel o'brien, thomas strain, as always it's sad to see them go but some will still have good careers in the game
