    I agree... but unless we get a lucky draw in the cup, we only get that when we are in the same division... and its fun to see them get relegated every couple of seasons!

    I like to see all Midlands clubs do well.. Obviously, I want to see Villa win local derbies... and with a derby comes a rivalry of sorts... There is only one club I truly hate, and thats Spurs... I hate their chairman, I hate their fans, I hate their self-pitying "why doesnt everyone want to see us do well" Liverpool--of-London thing they have going on... I'd love to see every Midlands team in the Premier League... Blues, Coventry, West Brom, Walsall, Tamworth, Kidderminster Harriers... The lot... But Spurs can **** off!

    So happy we have him and he is finally being given the platform to show everyone how consistently good he is... He has taken his opportunity with both hands and is winning points for us... If he carries on like this, I'd be happy for him to stay with us until he decides to hang up his boots

    Hopefully Deano has some transfer targets and a bit of spending money available for the transfer window. We definitely need more depth at LB, CB and LM and CM... It will be interesting to see how we do... Hopefully better than last time when we spent a wedge on a player who only served to gain us thousands of African football critics...

    Referee was dogshit... Allowed West Ham to kick us all over the park and appeared to leave his cards in the glove box in the car... We can't be having our record striker missing the target from the penalty spot and we need to improve in January with some more depth in midfield because, shamefully, we are going to have a rough ride without Barkley as he at least bullies the opposition... McGinn was anonymous, Watkins has a lot to answer for and Trez was playing like he had just got off the plane from Turkey when he first arrived... Terribly disappointing result... Oh... and VAR can **** off n'all

    He is out of his depth at this level I think... but he has done something not a lot of people have done and scored goals at every level of the English football league and earned his way up... He does need improving on but when he does go? I personally will remember him and his contributions to the team fondly

Luiz came through eventually after getting used to the way Smith wanted him to play... Just took some time... Unfortunately, Wes got clattered by a career-ruining sociopath

    Barcelona never saw anything special in RHM though... The fact that a world heavyweight side saw something in the kid worth signing gives this kid some credibility over a youngster who came through our youth system in one of the worst periods in our clubs recent history

    Exactly... and the only reason he wanted to go then was because it was to help us out financially because we were against the wall... Then NSWE saved us and he stayed.... and we came up... and he stayed again... Then we stayed up... and he stayed again... Jack doesnt want to leave us as long as we keep improving...     He is a once-in-a-lifetime player... For him to come through our youth system and make it all the way up to team captain and now bossing it whenever he plays for England... I don't think we will see another player quite like him play for Villa ever again... I have been a Villa fan since the early/mid 90s... and I dont remember ever seeing an attacking player anywhere near as good as him... and for us to have him from the year dot as well... He is just too good... and worth way more than a poxy £150m...
