  1. No Bannan? If Pires is being picked ahead of him, I'll be an angry man.
  2. Are you watching the steelers and their terrible towels?!
  3. Paulandonya has proven time and time again that he knows absolutely nothing. Passion, sure, but knows naff all. So, if he doesn't think Wiemann is very good....we can assume from that that he is quality. Fact.
  4. Hogg?! Blimey, didn't see that one coming!
  5. Lichaj RB. Bannan CM, LM, AM. Wieman, ST. Hogg CM Collins ST. Baker CB. Osbourne Preferably Nowhere. Corrected.
  6. Stevie Ireland is Brazilian, We won't sell for 50 million, We swapped him for Greedy Jim, and got Super Stevie Ireland.. That's mine from a few pages ago Or (based on yours Rob), Stevie Ireland is Brazilian, We won't sell for £50 million, Got rid of greedy Jimmy Milner, For Super Stevie Ireland.
  7. So, who can come up with a funny chant based around 'Old MacDonald had a farm' for our caretaker manager ahead of this weekend....
  8. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO This is a genuine question. Why? I see lots of people saying no to Sven, but I honestly don't get why... Not having a go or anything, I just wondered what your reasons are.
  9. Laughable. How come MON is aloud to spend what he likes and then not play them? Has Randy not got the right to question that? He spends a fortune pay them shit loads and then we cannot get rid. MON was given full control as he wanted and **** it up! **** it up? Improving our points total four years in a row; trips to Wembley; our highest scoring season in 30 years; our highest Premiership points total for a 38 game season; beating Blues every time we played 'em... ... given how much he spent, what did you actually expect? The Premier League title? I sincerely doubt the next chap to wear the manager's hat will please you. I hope he does... 'cos he'll have done pretty darn well. 3rd. Sky sports said after Man City and Chelsea.. Villa and Tottenham were equal 3rd in season spending. Man Utd Liverpool and Arsenal all below. (Man Utd obviously due to Ronaldo leaving) but nonetheless.. he signed him and sold him and still made the profit. But our starting squad before his spending was very, very poor. Luke Moore, Ridgewell, Hughes, McCann, Sorensen. No wonder he had to spend so much...
  10. I think Sven is a fantastic option. Something to prove, respected manager who can attract players etc.
  11. Please don't listen to the fans when picking a manager, you can't please everyone so just pick the best man for the job. (Of course, presumably that'll be Sven - terrific manager with something to prove in the Premier League, and knows Stephen Ireland )
  12. if you don't like my opinions then don't respond to them, I was informing others posters of a terrific young player in our academy To be fair, at first I quite liked your opinions - you clearly watch a lot of youth football and I respect that. I think you're definitely the type of guy who just loves his football and watch any form of it - love that! It's just some of your other opinions have been a bit "my way or your wrong", and it's put me off you a bit. No offence Could be worse, you could be paulanddonya... Personally, I don't think we can judge what the players think of the manager, as we're not involved in the situation. So nothing can be stated as a fact, just an either educated or uneducated guess.
  13. Yes and they are all for sale... Get rid. I wuld keep Davies though. Not that simple though is it and don't see many people coming in for them (except Jimmy obviously) potentially because they haven't seen them play for 12 months or more. indeed, we're in a right mess to be honest Yeah, but you have shown time and time again that what you think is completely worthless. At least in two years time, 14 year old Jack Grealish will be the saviour for both Villa and England........
  14. I guess if we got Ireland too, it'd work well. -------PETROV-----------BARRY-------- YOUNG------IRELAND-------DOWNING ----------------GABBY--------------------
  15. The more I think about this, the more I think it's a better deal for us. He's a really good player, but not as important to us as Ashley Young and Gabby - better than them, but not as important to us. I think we can replace him and move on. The fact is, signing someone for £12m then selling for £25-30m is good business. It's that sort of deal which will help out Randy and help us keep purchasing new quality players. Lyon operate a similar system of selling their top players for top fees, it makes perfect sense.....have a read of "Why England Lose", a fantastic football and statistics book - really interesting stuff.
  16. I said no. Not because of what happened with him leaving, but because I'd rather we had someone more mobile alongside Petrov. I think Ireland would be a much better swap deal.
