Throwing the kids on the pitch would mean getting slaughtered by the opposition. Club needs an overhaul, soon. Starting with the board. May well mean being relegated to get some change here.

Four grand and a wrecked car is nothing to a player on these kind of wages. So it`s taxis for a couple of years then.... Don`t consider that any of that will be anything beyond a mild irritation for him. Possibly the only scare being the risk of a nasty injury. Don`t get that when playing need for speed on the playstation.

Like many, I also see a great player in Delph, but, alas, hasn`t quite clicked yet. I`d say that Bannan is certainly a fighter, and has shown a few good moves thus far this season. Maybe not as big as Delph, but certainly puts enough effort in to compensate for some of that. Small players can be easily as good as bigger counterparts, even in the defensive. Shame about the car incident though.

Don`t really mind gay people at all, work with a lot of gays, as I work in the entertainment industry. Good thing is that with all these gay people about, they leave all the more girls for the rest of us. Homophobia is outdated, comes across like some grey ayatolla.... Being gay is actually a natural phenomina, once read that the highest percentage of gay populus is amoungst the pidgeons, comming in at about 12%.

Tbh, that challenge from Dunne at the end wasn`t even a foul, and he seems to have got the yellow card for complaining rather than an actual foul. Still, last minute goal conceded. See that a lot from our team. Costs points. Lack of concentration? Game finnished in the head? Whichever reason, I wouldn`t put it down to Petrov.

Bent certainly makes the runs, challenges for the ball and shows the physical presence during games. His link up play with Gabby is improving too, so the signs are there for him. Certainly not down to lack of effort.

Really should have won today, as in Loftus road game. We know it, he knows it. Should start happening and soon. Too many games thrown at the end right now.

Certainly did all the running and hassling. Good game, as had Nzog. But he really should have scored there.....

Found him good today, got sme nicely timed tackles in, and his distribution was top. Good game for him.

That one on one was definatrely a sitter, and i`m sure he knows it. Nice build up there though, although I must say that Sunderlands defending was pretty sub standard for a prem team. Should havwe scored there, we should have won.

Makes me laugh the way some folks just love to jump on our captains back. Led by example today, against aq pretty weak Sunderland side. Was kind of obvious that that second Ssunderland goal would come, as we always give away late goals, Dunne yellow for complaining about a shoulder charge tackle, etc.... Stan led by example, did very well, and was nice to see him score once again. bent should have finnished it one on one with the keeper at the end, but was indecisive in his placement. Not Stans fault there.

I see Cuellar more as a CD than a RB, although he did stand in there for some tome to good effect. Hope he gets fit soon as he still has a future. Good at set pieces too, unlike Hutton, of whom I still am not convinced, despite being a regular for Scotland(shows more of the lacking in Scotland for good players really). We could do better, like Bouhlarouz in Stuttgart, who`s contract expires end of season. Good player, just in the wrong team....

Seems Fonz did not make the step up, as Weimann looks like doing right now.

Would not underrate our side to go out and give them a difficult game. Up there is a circus right now, what with Tevez story and all that. Noone expects a result from this, so maybe the suprise factor will kick in (see manu away a couple of seasons back). City are lacking up front with Tevez and auguero out. Balloteli`s temper is dodgy, although a tremendous player, so could well be they will push from the midfield. Perfect for Bent and Gabby to run at. Glad the players have more confidence in their game than some of us supporters.

Apparently they are thin up front for saturday....

Second half in Loftus Road looked better than he has done of recent. Only quibble I`d have is that he doesn`t pressure the opposition much at the front, allowing them to set up passes. Tends to make him look like he has gone missing. Gabby and Heskey are good at troubling the opposition higher up the pitch. Certainly helps to win balls back.

The experience and captaicy of Petrov behind the youth and developing ability of Bannan seems like a worthwhile combination to me. Heskey in for the headers, knock ons and holding, as well as his tackling. Real workhorse (some here call it donkey), but does trouble defenders well. Bannan looks a treat.

agreed, he looked way out of his depth, delfouneso would've done a much better job Total nonsense, he was only on for 6 minutes. He didnt do anything wrong. Sure he needs to have a bit more composure on the ball but the desire to do well oozes out of him. Something weve never seen with Delfounseo Slightly off topic but taking the ball to the corner is where we really miss James Milner. Very very good at killing a game off imo. Agreed that Milner would have handled such situations better, but the lad is still young, and he diud actually look like he wanted the ball, but when he got it, seemed not to know what to do with it. Didn`t get his head up to look for a pass either. As mentioned, he was only on for a few minutes, so I suppose it really is the issue of giving the boy some time on the pitch.

Can`t agree with the MOTH bit, but general thoughts about him comming good.....
