    young actually read a few of carews headers as well, hopefully gabby can learn how to read a flick on

    great performances today from most of the team we played well and west ham were absymal, it should have been 5 at least, it could have been 8 comfortably the midfield 5 (if you include young) were all fantastic, clark was great, l. young showed how comfortably you can play right back carew's build up play was fine - if he had his shooting boots today it would have been embarrassing up the villa

    doubt ill bother, friendlies are a waste of time imo and i have never bothered with them will cut down on friday night drinking time too

    apparrently they have to have the same sponsor if its a local company cus of the fear that supporters of one club would boycott the product on the other teams shirt and vice versa dunno if its true tho

    he was useless as a centre-forward when he first joined, might be a bit better now tho with experience still think he is most effective as an out and out left winger tho (even taking into account doubling up etc)

    General, in my experience a lot of people buy football tops for their summer holidays, and in particular kids to wear non-stop in the summer school holiday. as such i think it is fairly pathetic that the kit is not being released til after the summer holidays

    i wouldnt buy it this year as i think the design is tripe but this is pathetic really, when i was a kid i always wanted a new kit for my hols but unless your going really late you got no chance the summer is pretty much over by the time it comes out

    FA Cup win over 4th all day long for me. I had 2 top top weekends last year with wembley; if we actually won their i don't think i would make it back to brum i think it would be interesting to see a break down of how regularly people go to games next to what option they vote for

    normally like black kits but dont like the away either the worst kit nike have done for us the whole unveiling process was a load of bollox as well

    but as heskey has managed about 5 good performances in his villa career (that admittedly coincided with a good run of team performances) i am not holding my breath

    Except heskey has not done this job very well in his villa career, 5/6 games aside in fact other than 5/6 games when he was good and did contribute to some of our best football of the season, he has been poor in terms of ball retention, as poor as carew sometimes is in fact

    get rid of heskey as he is shite, keep carew for a purely bench role and buy a new striker to go straight into the first team would be the best scenario imo

    nah ive been up to glasgow numerous times for the football so i cant use that as an excuse lol think we have had a couple of midweek games vs. them in recent seasons but there must have been a few saturday ones as well

    about 45 but that would include a few that don't exist anymore like filbert street, highfield road, highbury etc etc opportunity to tick a couple more off next year with Blackpool and Newcastle (dunno why i have never been up there before)

    foster aint that bad - a step backwards from hart but way better than maik taylor, and most other goalies who would have joined them know nothing about zigic
