as far as i know we have sung 'when the villa go marching in' for years, like almost every other team, but spurs were the first team to do it slowly that i am aware of, and they adopted a slow version before us i no 99% of football chants are recycled/robbed from other places, but we should not use this as an anthem imo

Used to get annoyed with Gabby at right midfield under MON, Gabby at left midfield is even more ridiculous!!!! i know a couple of blokes who aint going down again until Houllier is sacked, and these are long-term ST holders and away scheme members who do not miss games - that is how disillusioned some people are. I'm taking my ticket back for Wigan away if that clown is still in charge Heskey's was a definite sending off imo (haven't seen it back on the tele), seemed to have pushed their player in the face which is always going to be a straight red. Shame really cus by that point he was the only player looking capable of doing anything for us, and was relieving pressure whilst they had started to get on top, with Bents open goal miss etc

aint even got down to season ticket holders yet, so i think that is unfair especially when you consider how cheap the tickets are compared to previous years think tomorrow is ST holder plus 1 away, i imagine most of the original allocation will be gone by then, maybe a few left over for ST holders with no aways

deserved a point and we got it - a point i wasn't expecting beforehand hopefully it can act as turning point for the rest of the season, but will have to see how things are going after another couple of games

Anyone know how many are in the away scheme? i have no real idea but would estimate that around half of the allocation would be taken up by people in the away scheme cus wigan was cancelled i doubt ill qualify for 5+ away games which is annoying, hopefully there will still be tickets left for the following window

That would really tip me over the edge!! i am far from his biggest fan but we would do better under him than under houllier with the players at our disposal at the moment - even if the football is dire its not like the football at the moment is any good is it? i would have a lot more confidence in staying up under big sam than under houllier

at least if we do get relegated i can tick a few more away grounds off the list

5 or 6 passses when 1 will do - way too slow in building attacks i lost count of the number of times delfonso made himself available in the whole for a ball into feet and people took the easy option and turned backwards fat sam isnt the most ludicrous thing i have ever heard - his style of play would suit the players we have far more than the style houllier is trying to impose on the players - and it would be cheaper to change the manager than buy 7/8 new players that can fit into houlliers attempt at a style

my old man was on the coach at 8, pretty much up there i imagine lol!!! my train werent until later, so didnt even leave the house thankfully, but lost my ticket costs

they said last year "the game is definitely on" on the friday, got up the saturday half cut and they decided it was off due to failed undersoil heating it smelt fishy last year as well imo
