That's only because we sat back, if Ron Atkinson had of been in charge of us today we wouldn't have sat back, we would have carried on the way we were playing up until the 1st goal and thrashed them! i agree tbh, we were killing them for 15-20 mins and it would have been a hammering if we continued playing like that imo it must have been instructions from the bench for all of the players to suddenly stop pressing and playing adventurously at the same time

did the usual play well for 15 mins in a game before reverting to shit - only normally the 15 min spell doesnt come in the first 15 mins

we needed 6 pts today and wednesday, then we could have gone into the chelsea game with nothing to lose imo; any points gained would have been a bonus now i feel we need to get something from the chelsea game

warnock was terrible (as was cuellar, but at least he has the excuse of being out of position) - he has been poor since he picked up that knock a while back imo

collins was v. good again, milner was excellent as well, the best he has played in a few weeks warnock was very dodgy first half but recovered in the second half to some extent - although he is on a bit of a inconsistent run at the moment carew did quite well, hopefully he will play to the same level and above for the remainder of the season i was quite impressed with our contingent last nite, dont know how many we took but from row D it looked around 2,500 -3,000, which i think is a good turnout for a midweek fixture
