    I don't mean to badger you, and I'm sure you are doing your best to sort this out, General, but could you give us an idea of what these "unintended consequences" are? I'd back this up, what is so difficult about refusing entry to away fans who have away tops on, as was the case on saturday, and what are the unintended consequences you speak of?

    the older Simpsons upto about 2002 beats the others hands down, but the current simpsons shows (and the film) are shocking, so more recently i would put family guy above the simpsons. never seen Futurama properly tho

    both are quality, providing they play up front. Gabby should not be let near the wing again in a 442 or a 433/451, he is an out and out striker who has to play down the middle; he is useless on the wing , where MON persisted in playing him last year, despite abject performances

    Bozzie was world class for us IMO, he was one of the top 3 in the prem easily (only Schmeichel and possibly Seaman were better than him at his peak for us)

    well when your initial points are so vague and frankly, a bit weak, people might need further explanation. Neither goal was particularly important, the coventry one wasnt particularly good, the everton one was. I haven't said good goals have to be important. What i meant was that in the past people have said Angel scorin against coventry was important cus it relegated them, which is patently untrue

    Bollocks was it. And what does the importance of the goal have to do whether it was good or not? The fact that Everton were dead and buried, does that mean that goal wasn't good? The goal was a fluke IMO, say it is bollocks all you want. I dunno what the **** you're going on a bout after that.

    someone said legendary goals too. Thats a joke, he has scored some v. good goals (e.g. Chelsea, Everton) but i doubt they will go down in villa folklore. And dont say what about coventry or bolton. The former was irrelevant in sending them down cus they were mathematically relegated irrespective of the result anyway and the latter was a fluke.

    I dont think this poll reflects the consensus amongst all villa fans, probably cus it is so limited. Most of the people i know would say he was neither, and if you ran the poll on H&V the results would be skewed the other way. Angel was sometimes good, sometimes brilliant, but more often than not average or even worse, terrible. Thats why i find it strange that so many people on here think he is a hero, yet most ppl i know dont, and some other forums would even label him a flop. A bit strange certainly

    Hero? Are you having a laugh? Flop? That's a bit of a joke as well. As some have already pointed out, he is neither. There really should have been other options in the poll, 'cus the current format does not accomodate everyones point of view. I think that some of the people who voted would have preferred intemediary categories instead. If anything, he is skewed more towards flop than hero IMO, but i would not label him a flop properly. Bit of an unfair poll IMO
