Well, as expected Apple have failed yet again. It's a shame as they had the chance to push other companies all the way, yet just haven't stepped up to the plate.

Not his biggest fan and I'll be honest in saying I was one of the many that thought he would bottle it. Congratulations to him though and he fully deserves it. His game has rapidly improved over recent years and it looks like all that hard work has finally paid off. Now for Wimbledon...

I had a really weird one the other night. I was in this odd looking theme park that was all worn down and built on muddy ground. I went to a small Subway stand there and asked for a sandwich. The guy just started going on in this foreign language and was pointing at all of the things I could have on it and just chucking it on. There was seaweed and all other odd things, inluding what looked like various sauces. Anyway, he finishes putting a bunch of stuff on and says it will be £20 (in English this time). I said I didn't want it so he pulls a knife on me and says I have to pay (all in English now). Some random bloke pushes him and shouts out that I should run as fast as I can. Then I'm running and all of these people are staring at me. Then the dream jumps to this store at the entrance where they sell gilets. It ended there. Now what the hell does that all mean?!

It really didn't deserve the time it took you to type that. Awful film as far as I'm concerned...

The fact that you have to change weapon/skills whilst underwater also makes it more interesting in GW2. I wasn't a fan of underwater combat in the likes of WoW, yet they have done it pretty well in this.

How have you seen that so early? Press screening or something? It's not even on general release yet in the States, nevermind the UK. Not convinced by it myself, apart from as a bit of eye candy. I'll see it before I judge it, yet it just seems like a typical big blockbuster that goes for style over substance.

Ah is it good? It's on netflix which I have I was really surprised by it , having low expectation with Afflick directing his brother ..but Casey is a damn fine actor (really liked him in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford as well) I sky+'d it so will have to give it another watch and remind myself .. also seem to recall at the time they delayed the UK release as it was deemed close to the McCann scenario ?? Good film. Have you seen 'The Town'? Even better in my opinion.

Yeah, good few months ahead. Not to forget the likes of 'The Campaign', 'Skyfall', 'The Master', 'Seven Psycopaths' (hopefully), 'Skyfall' and 'The Hobbit'. Those are just some of them and don't include the smaller budget films. Plus they're releasing 'Raiders Of The Lost Ark' on IMAX screens later this month. It should be bloody great on an IMAX screen...

Just back from seeing 'Shadow Dancer'. Good little film about an IRA informer. Well worth seeing.

I had one of those buttered turkey breasts from M&S on bread last night. Surely that can't be too healthy. I love a good turkey sandwich though...

I know it's getting really poor reviews, yet I'm tempted to go and see 'Total Recall'. Maybe it will be a bit of popcorn fun anyway. Have any of you seen it yet?

You're right. We have much better quality in midfield than Joe Cole and much better finishers than Owen. Oh wait...

I'm starting to think that Joe Cole and Owen would be good to add a bit of experience, if we could get them on low wages. I'm just not sure if they would accept low. We are seriously lacking experience. Ballack?

If they want more than that then we should just walk away. Fingers crossed that we get him for under £7 million and hopefully he will end up being worth more than what we pay.

Had a good night of some WvW tonight. Sorry I vanished by the way. The game froze on me and I'm still trying to get back in now, yet it's stuck on the loading screen...

Right, it turns out that the PvP is quite decent with a warrior...

I've given the PvP more of a go today and I'm not as impressed as I was at first. I'm just not a fan of the combat in PvP, although the way the WvW sections are set up is great. It's just a shame that the combat isn't smoother as that spoils it for me. The rest of the game is very impressive though. Lots to explore and the questing system is great. Plus in PvE the combat is very good and I like the fact that your moves changes with the weapon equipped.

I still haven't seen N'Zogbia put in a quality display for 90 minutes with us. Not once... I don't think he should be used as a scapegoat, yet his poor performances can't just continue to be overlooked. He needs to be dropped with someone like Carruthers given a chance instead.

This. (Although i'd say more like a 6/7 not 5.) Seen it twice now, it's just a leave your brain out, big action movie. But the insane praise it's got just confuses me, most of the superheroes don't really warrant there own film either IMO, Captain America, and Hulk especially. Batman makes them all look very average and stupid. The praise is due to the fact that it nails the tone of comics perfectly. The recent Batman films have a much more serious tone. Whilst that's nice at times, it's also nice to have a film that feels like a comic book. Avengers Assemble felt like a fun comic book story that didn't take itself too seriously. I certainly wouldn't say Batman is that much better (if at all). TDKR could have been much better than it actually ended up being and one could argue that Avengers Assemble worked better as it wasn't trying to be pretentious. Anyway, there is plenty of room for Batman and the Avengers in my life...

Just had a couple of hours on it and I really like it so far. The WvW seems like it will be great fun, although not many people were doing it at this early stage. I'll be back on when I'm back from the match tonight (around 8-9pm).
