Any truth in the rumour (comment on internet) that the shirt deal was pushed through by Gerrard before he left and that he’s personal friends with the owners of Castore? Does Gerrard have any shares in the company, as apparently he did the exact same thing at Rangers? Have to say the quality of the shirts is comparable to Gerrard’s management skills.

Could be, but he was fit throughout the summer until his injury and he got 30 minutes on Thursday. I reckon we could get 60 minutes out of him. I’m worried about Digne being left exposed.

I reckon Ramsey will start tomorrow. We’ve really been missing his drive and energy. Be good to have him tracking Sterling as well when Digne loses him on his blind side.

I think this is key. Emery has to find a way of utilising the squad over the season, without weakening us.

Hi there, we had our honeymoon in Mauritius in 2007. Stunning hotels and beaches and great place to relax after a wedding. All the best on the big day We were on the west coast in a place called the Maritim and the beach, pools, food and drink were fantastic. You won’t regret the experience. We hired a taxi for the day as recommended by the hotel. Very cheap but worth it and nothing was an issue for the driver. Went basically around the whole island, doing various stops like the seven sands, wild monkeys and temples. I seem to remember a small zoo or nature park that was good also and did some shopping around the capital. Only negative was the flight for me being quite tall and we didn’t upgrade our seats at the time. It was in the August, full plane and quite expensive. I think it was approximately 12 hours and i’d had enough after about six hours. However, once at the hotel it was heaven.

Really disappointing last night, but can see why Emery made made several changes from the Palace game. We can’t basically play the same eleven for possibly 60 games this season. I understand some players would have lacked match sharpness, but the basics were really lacking and from players that know better. These weren’t youngsters, but what should be good squad options. Anyway, I fully expect Emery to return to pretty much his tried and trusted. Ramsey looked sharp and did some good things on his return and think we can get 60 minutes plus out of him. I honestly can’t see Moreno starting when he hasn’t played any competitive minutes since May. Cash and Pau back in is a given. McGinn, Kamara, Watkins and Digne do need to step up for this one or could find themselves either being subbed or benched soon. Zaniolo and Duran can consider themselves very unlucky not to start, but they’ll be in Emery’s thinking during the second half and I expect them both to start again in the cup game next week. We could certainly do with Carlos being back fit and Moreno getting some minutes here. We can’t be the only kit manufactured by Castore where this is happening surely? Is it because these are from a specific factory/country and something has gone badly wrong? I’m guessing we can insist on new ones being made and cut our contract short? I did joke last night in the match thread, but how will issue be on a really cold night game? Won’t it make the shirts freezing cold and uncomfortable to run in?
