  1. Walker cant be recalled, either Kendrick or Abraham confirmed that a few weeks back.
  2. Ok against wigan, about the best player on the pitch at old trafford, decent against fulham and only let down by a stupid lunge at Blackpool. But surely if he was off the pace only a run of games will get him up to pace? Thats your opinion, others may not share it. He was crap against Wigan imo. (just an example) Well thanks for that bicks I thought the forum was generally about opinions otherwise a fact based forum would be generally boring with little discussion. I was just giving my opinion. Do you have anything else that's obvious that you might not think I'm aware of?

  4. To me, the ideal midfield would be: ----------------- Enforcer ------------------- Sissoko possibly, maybe Delph ------------------------- Playmaker -------- Bannan/Delph/Makoun ------ Attacker/link ------------------------- Milner possibly, maybe Gardner Haven't seen enough of Bradley to work out whether/how he might fit in. Milner and Gardner have both left mate. Hence he used the word ideal, I reckon he probably also knows we havent signed Sissoko either.
  5. No it wouldnt because JR Hartley is his name by using his initials, whereas Day V Lately is the smug idiots stage/band name, its a bit like the bird form 2 unlimited ringing up and asking for no limit and then saying her name is 2 unlimited. Besides of which that song and clip you have found is part of yells marketing and created for the advert. Why not let me be annoyed by it?
  6. The most annoying advert of all time, for yell.com where some middleaged hippy is searching for a trance song called pulse and thunder by Day V Lately and he says at the end in the most annoying smug manner that his name is Day V Lately NOT ITS NOT YOU SMUG clearing in the woods YOUR REAL NAME WOULD BE DAVID LATELY.
  7. Definate red card but lucky not to get booked for a good tackle? I dont understand? where have i said a good tackle? the one for the goal was a good tackle but two after that were poor. i read it as you were saying he was lucky not to get booked for the slide tackle which led to gabbys goal, but obviously i read it wrong.

  9. Where is the louis vuitton option for the chavs?
  10. Such as this one? Does Gérard Houllier meet with your approval as manager this past month? Liverpool was December, tonights game is February and the future cant be January. P.S Houlston, you might need to read back from page one to see what I'm getting at. :winkold:

  12. Well to be honest Richard whatever you think has never and will not ever affect the decision that has been made but thats never stopped you expressing your opinions or even being quite vocal with them. So I ask again do you still think he should go today or do you now think it is better that he stays on board till the end of the season? Well I do not think he is the right man for the job, still. So why would I want a person who I do not think is right for the job to remain in place much longer? However, I see that it is not going to happen anytime soon so to be pragmatic expect him to retain his position, it does not alter the fact that I do not , yet, believe he is right for us. I resognise that you are trying to push me into a corner so that, no doubt, my opinion will be jumped upon and ridiculed at every chosen opportunity though. Not trying to push you into a corner or ridicule you just trying to get a straight answer from question without you taking the politicians approach. I'm interested in your view point on it as you have been one of the most vocally anti houllier and given the current results and transfer window I wondered if you had changed your view point. That is all Richard. Not everything has to have an agenda it can just be as simple as interest. And from your post it seems that you would prefer him to go today.

  14. Would you still rather he left today though? Or do you know think that it would be best for the club to leave in place till the end of the season and review then?
  15. 1) So he should turn up for training and train with who he is told to. 2) You make it sound like he actually played well at some point when he didnt 3) Boo bloody hoo, i'm sure his wife eased her nervousness when she had to continue to concentrate on breathing and blinking. I was excited when he signed and I do think he is a good player so this Newcastle loan will hopefully be a win win for Villa, whether its a player coming back in good form or in the guise of a transfer fee. But he needs to sort his head out because like I said before the only person who has personal problems is Stephen Ireland with Stephen Ireland.
  16. or Young is on his way to Liverpool so Houllier has cancelled the deal Course I dont believe that but thought I'd give some of the more paranoid on here something to panic over.
  17. Not true you could tell us what you know but you have chosen not to. Houllier has only outcast players on footballing merit ie Carew, Warnock and those that have improved he has stuck by ie Dunne. I dont believe he has any personal problems with SI at all the only person that has personal problems is Stephen Ireland with Stephen Ireland. Read my previous, lengthy posts in thus thread. I have and I dont see anything to do with games or family. Also you said you are going to keep the details to yourself but now you are saying its in your previous posts. :?

  19. What Houllier has said about Delph is brilliant and must be so encouraging and confidence boosting to Delph.
  20. Turns out he hurt his thigh in the first minute at Wigan!!! Thats right the first minute so anyone on here giving him a hard time about him being off the pace and getting tired easily will hopefully realise that this might have had something to do with it. In fact taking this into account it made his debut quite impressive.
  21. Yep so easy is it to got to their ground that in the 10 matches played at the DW before last night they had lost once - dead easy. The pitch was far from ok.
  22. Not really convinced its a masterstroke as such, we've heard from the official gossip monger that Randy wanted a marque signing, Bent had clearly put word out via his agent that he wanted out at Sunderland, it was all down to who was desperate enough to pay Sunderland sufficient money to get him and remunerate Bent accordingly. Because of Randy that would appear to have been us. Yes Houllier may have said that he wanted him when his availability was known but the masterstroke was Randy releasing the funds rather than Houllier pulling off some huge transfer coup 2+2+2+2+2+2= :?
  23. Credit where credit is due, thought he got it right tonight, we could of easily lost discipline, the lads looked together, everyone put in a shift. YES YES YES.
