  1. If that happened i think i'd cum so hard my pants would fly off!! The guy on the Everton forum claims to know someone thats ITK. And I claim to know that he's full of shit, like Maradonna says JM has gone to Porto
  2. Well that wouldnt matter because if Moyes did come he'd probably bring Round with him
  3. As if its on there, got to love the internet. Just had a little feature on it as well! haha! VT is going to take over the worlddd muhahahha!! Aparently Moyes was at some Finchly farm today too so not sure theres been much to move the odds. Perhaps he was milking the cows there while the rest of the squad were at the clubs training ground at Finch Farm
  4. This is an excellent spot, odds obviously only go down when more and more money is put on, now Keane hasnt been mentioned in the media so why has money gone on him today?
  5. this, and there is no one better than sven at scouting talent
  6. Its not like football is this holy grail of secret inside knowledge that can only be obtained by managing in the top flight, KM has managed teams since the early 90's the only thing he'd be new to is the media and a more intense pressure. He knows these players better than anyone, he knows the club better than any of the proposed managers and he has worked under and with some of the best in the business. Its not a reaction after one game its a reaction of knowing KM and the job he has done for many years.
  7. KM got it spot on today and I cant remember the last time we used 3 subs in fact I almost had to check the league rules to see if it had been abolished. It just shows that football isnt the most complicated thing, youre not afraid to do something different, you put the players in their correct positions not trying to accomodate players, a high tempo from the off not waiting to go a goal behind before you get going and when you take the lead just like all the best sides you keep going and kill the game off. Today was refreshing and very enjoyable and if we always played with this much positivity and verve I doubt I would be as bothered the times we did lose. To say this was MON tactics and team is beyond belief Just for a change rather than bringing someone in from the outside lets build from within, KM arguably knows the whole squad more than O'neill did anyway, we develop excellent young players why cant we develop excellent managers too.
  8. Or what if someone looking like James Milner talked to someone from the news of the world who was dressed like a sheik and the lookalike double bluffed the fake sheik into handing over one million dollars. This was then taken to the real James Milner by someone who looked like Martin O’Neill. The real James Milner wasnt sure about the one million dollars as Martin O’Neill suddenly had a Russian accent but still took the money for his signing on fee at Man City. The real Martin O’Neill got wind of this via his drone that flies regularly over his players homes, he then realised that Milner did want a move to Man City. Martin O'Neill does an interview saying that James wanted to leave the world cup, which is actually code to give the go ahead for James's assassination, James then through the papers says he is being forced out of Villa park which is actually code for you'll never find me mwah ha ha ha ha and thats where we find ourselves today. Jesus guys its only football not an episode of spooks - Man City offer loads of money in wages and signing on fee and a large transfer fee, everyone is happy but no one wants bad pr, end of. We read the press and know most of it is made up through a 'close source' yet we still continue to read it and then make something of nothing.
  9. but i think thats the point, we can only think why would they need more money because we dont earn anywhere near that much and would love to, yet people with lots of money always want more and more money, Stelios the owner of easy jet said that once youve earned so much anything else is just greed as you can afford anything but I think that figure was something like £50m plus, i guess its all relevant to us it seems ridiculous to want more money but to them its obviously not ridiculous.
  10. Fair points but i wasnt comparing us to them I obviusly didnt explain myself clearly, but its not the equivalent of £500 dangled in front if us. lets just say Milner is on roughly £50k a week, the £2.5m signing on fee would be a years salary so it would be like us having a year of our salary dandgled in front of us plus double our yearly salary.
  11. Bloody hell he hasnt even gone yet and yet some are already slagging him off and calling him names. James Milner is not a fan of Aston Villa, when will people get in their head that its not just a sport to them its also their living and all though he gets paid amounts that most of us cant comprehend now, he can get paid even more elsewhere with a better chance of silverware. If we hadnt of bought him from Newcastle he still would of turned out to be a decent player but just at another club. Perhaps we should show him some loyalty and respect by not calling him names and slagging him off before he's even gone. Good luck to him he hasnt killed anyone he's played his heart out for us and given his all and now he can get paid even more with a massive signing on fee. Most of us can sit in our avergage houses with average cars saying we wouldnt leave if we got paid that much, but honestly if someone dangled a £2.5m signing on fee and a salary that of double what we are on its very holier than thou to say I wouldnt take it. As ive said before there are a handful of players in the world who are irreplacable and he isnt one. £25m is a ridiculous amount of money and if we can get players like Stephen Ireland (who is hardly a massive drop in talent) and a few others with it then is fine by me, again good luck to him.
  12. Very easy to say that when youre not in the situation, many fans dont earn the money these footballers do but its all relevant, its what theyre used to and its not different than someone on 35k a year then being offered 60k elsewhere to do the same job. Why shouldnt he go and do the same job elsewhere for more money if its not a step backwards in footballing terms. We as fans find it hard to understand as most of us would love to play at that level and most would do it for a percent of what they do, but they are used to it and fair play to them. Plus if Milner moved his integrity would still be in tact.
  13. People also forget its not just wages, because he hasnt handed in a transfer request he gets a signing on fee which is usually 10% of the transfer fee. I dont know why people take it so personally, he's not a Villa fan he's an employee who can get paid a load more cash elsewhere. £28m for a decent but not world class player would be brilliant, good luck to the lad if he goes.
  14. Me too. On the Virgin F1 team its just FxPro
  15. it was a barter to get rid of Baros And? Robbie Keane is a proven quality goalscorer in the premiership he is much less likely to fail at the Villa than your hearththrob Falcao, who would cost the earth and no doubt take forever to settle in or are we talking about Football Manager as I hear if you play 325 and mark the goal keeper he scores at lot for Villa.
  16. obviously didnt inspire world of books they are selling it for 1p
  17. Now listen up guys if you want to nail a stripper...............
  18. If we started the season with this line up and squad i would be a very happy man but its highly unlikely, Luke is off, O'neill loves Downing and Keane wont sit on the bench
  19. Its not really anything to do with having a mediocre attitude its just being realistic, if City offered us £30m for Milner of course its difficult to turn down. I dont believe he is worth that much, last night in the centre of the park he looked anything but £30m. In fact apart from Rooney I dont think any English player is now worth £30m. City have silly money and it just makes the transfer market very false. If he stays great if we get £30m for him then great so all in all great.
  20. True but unfortunately and as you probably know the transfer market doesnt work like that, Milner is at least twice the player Lescott is but we wont get £48m for him. United paid £30 odd million for Berbatov yet Barcelona have only paid a similar amount for David Villa. Marlon Harewood cost us £4m does that mean I have a transfer value? £25m is a lot of money for most players and that amount would allow us to bring in two very good players.
  21. I dont really see what all the fuss is about, yeah great player but if we got a load of money for him and that money was used wisely then so what and if he stays then great as well. Theres no point in suggesting various players because then you get into a tit for tat argument about the merits of players and invariably people dont agree. All i'll say is when we first signed Milner I doubt many saw him being as good a player as he turned out to be and that there would be this much attention and reaction on him. Its also not us about being a selling club at the end of the day city have loads of money and that talks and united have success which also talks. There are only a handful of players in the world that you could argue are irreplaceable and we dont have any of those players anyway.
  22. I agree, 12 goals in 16 games is a terrible return for someone who cost them nothing but his wages. I agree he's been basically a goal every two games his entire career and has not suffered with injuries. He always runs his socks off, has great vision and sticks the ball away. He would be a good signing for us even if it was only for two years. A proven player at premiership level.
  23. They might be different players but you can still ask the question who would you rather have in your team Carrick or Milner and I'm sure I would be among many in saying Milner every time.
  24. Although we have decent wide players I'd quite like to see Nzogbia in a Villa shirt. Benayoun, Ireland, Boateng (not the Hull one) would be decent signings. Doyle is probably likely, again decent player but hardly gets my heart rate going, but then to be honest I think the players we could get or will get probably wont be that type of marquee signing. If we had loads to find a decent striker I'd love to see us break the bank for Suarez.
