  1. Am i the only one on here that would give her one? Or am i just desperate? Sorry to break it to you my friend, but yes, you are desperate Beggers cant be choosers, and i reckon she does a lot of begging I'm with Chris, I think I probably would, although I would probably spit on her half way through.
  2. this is how i read it also the reports of us not being interested in Hughes is only sky sources understand
  3. FFS, yeah I hope if he gets us to 6th or above he **** off. Whoever comes should get our full support and given every chance which does not include hoping he **** off after not too long.
  4. Unless unless just on the very off and slim chance that he's going back to Chelsea
  5. If we did get Ancelotti then he would be the most succesful manager ever to lead our club, he wouldnt be far off the most succesful player to be involved with the club as well. He would surely also be the highest profile manager we have ever appointed and that would help worldwide and obvioulsy Italy. Whether we are right for him in terms of size I dont really know but I would certainly be more than happy with this appointment he also seems like a decent bloke, his interviews are never annoying and he speaks a lot of sense he's like the opposite of Holloway.
  6. Well I hear he wants to leave Marseille.. Just hope Enrique gets the Roma job and it leaves the path clear for us to get him...Thats if the board are ambitious enough.. I have a similar man crush on Beckham but I really am struggling to see the allure of Deschamps but each hetro to his own.
  7. Yeah and why on the OS did they not use a different type of font to what they normally use or at least incorporate some italics, the mind boggles, this board is useless.
  8. Why havent they announced who the new manager is? Its been at least five minutes since the announcement of GH leaving, **** me this board is useless, blah blah moan **** blah head up arse blah.
  9. Another one for the amdram society. Loads of good managers attainable A couple of players want to go but they have high transfer values A decent squad We have a very rich owner who has done some great things for the club A brilliant stadium A brilliant pitch Unbelievably good training facilities Good youth set up with loads of promising players One of the best strikers in the country Its anything but embarrassing and I for one no matter what happens at the club will never say the club is embarrassing.
  10. Moyes has hardly said no to it He told the Post: "As far as I know I'm here and I'm the manager. "I want to have a club, though, where I can give the supporters something, I really do. "I want a good fresh challenge when we come back next summer and hopefully that will be the case."
  11. What I always find amazing is how much players will listen to their agents. Its like they really have no brain, personality or even know what they want. Its a bit of a kick in the nuts but there are plenty of players in the world that can replace Stewart Downing he's not Ronaldo and he's not Messi. I dont subscribe to this whole feeder club bolloks either, plenty of clubs bigger than us lose their players. Its just the way football is, player comes in betters himself, moves on, it happens all the time everywhere. I just think his comments are little ungrateful given how much he earned whilst he was hobbling along and then upon his return played like a bit of a spanner till he had a pre season. Also if he does stay he's now gone from being a fans favourite to a bit of a prick and if he doesnt go this summer then he'll certainly go next summer.
  12. Wow, I didnt know that someone who watched Mark Hughes play is to be considered an old man
  13. elvis turning up at VP with Lord Lucan in tow leading shergar to graze on the VP pitch has more chance of happening than Deschamps getting the job Its 70/1 with BetFred
  14. Success At Liverpool? I think thats a promise they'd find almost as hard as us to keep.
  15. Before Mysteryman decided to stop posting on here, he said in Jan that we would spend big again in the summer. Collymore has sais today that he thinks we will also be spending big this summer and he hates to be proven wrong on things, so its unlikely he would make such a statement unless he knew slightly different.
  16. How did he manage to pull out another man of the match award then if he was so out of his depth in those six other games? Also he looked decent at Blackpool till he got sent off.
  17. This is a very good point, there may also be something in Houlliers contract that becomes active in June that allows Villa and him to go their seperate ways if either party are unhappy. Also with this MON tribunal perhaps nothing can be sorted until its over because MON is set to become the new Everton manager with Moyes coming here
  18. Well if he gets the boot from Chelsea, surely we are his most viable option, unless Arsenal part company with Wenger.
  19. Yes, he said there is a few issues to iron out. Like can he commute to Villa or will the club rent an apartment for him.
  20. I personally think he's exceptionally aware of other players, how to find space and love the fact he likes to play the ball to feet or slightly ahead of them. There is no way that an average player could play like he did at OT and I cant remember the last time a Villa player ever made so many passes in one game.
