Never in doubt that he'd step up to the Premier League fairly comfortably. A good performance overall, went bonkers when he ran through and scored just love the bloke so much. He's gonna have a good season.

Gutted for him that Ndombele puts in that lovely strike right after the initial fantastic save. He's going to win us many points this season.

A fine performance and didn't really do much wrong. I'm just not sure I want Hourihane playing DM for us in the long term.

Thought the game plan was spot on and worked a treat in the first half. We kept our shape very well and then looked dangerous on the counter, I expect against sides around us we'll press more and control possession better. Definitely positives today.

Engels Had the better first half but Mings in the second was fantastic. Monster in the air and made some vital blocks. Looks perfectly fine in the Premier League.

Good first half, that run he done from the Spurs corner I thought was fantastic. Looked faster than he ever has done. Second half, just like Hourihane and McGinn, we couldn't handle the onslaught and unfortunately it was Jack's mistake that gifted them a goal. Like everyone has said though, he'll learn from this for sure. No doubt that he's going to be influential for us again.

Disappointed we've lost of course but I'm fairly pleased with how we've done today. Bit surprised at some comments, we've held our own for 70 odd minutes against a very good Spurs side. Heaton, Mings and Engels were absolutely fantastic I thought and to be fair to Taylor, since I wasn't pleased he was starting, I thought he was also perfectly fine. Midfield really impressive first half but did die out with 25 minutes or so to go which resulted in the 3 goals. It was just wave after wave of Spurs attacks which we couldn't control. Eriksen completely changed the game. Going forward I thought Trezeguet was decent and in hindsight it should've been El Ghazi off. Wesley was a bit of a mixed bag for me, at times he fell over a bit too easily but then others when his hold up play was very good. I'll judge him more when we play teams around us, like next week against Bournemouth. I've seen enough today to believe we'll be alright this season.

Brilliant first half, we look dangerous on the counter. Wesley must be stronger though, falling over a little too much and the ball just isn't sticking up front.

Not starting Jota is just as much as a concern as Taylor starting for me. Really disappointed.

I thought we were past El Ghazi carrying the left flank on his own again

I'm dreading this. Taylor is going to get destroyed and Jota should've 100% been playing. Unless of course they're ill/injured or something but then they shouldn't be on the bench.

Hang on a minute only just realised Guilbert isn't playing either wtf has happened

I think not having Jota is a huge blow already. He's been brilliant this pre season.
