I do agree with what you are saying, my point is only that I would be more confident of getting a goal with him up front rather than Bowery or Kozak.

Not sure anyone is actually saying that. Certainly all I thought was that we might have a better chance of getting goals with him up front than Bowery or Kozak.

Think his record would show that he is.

Don't know why people are knocking Bent. Did not fit our system, perhaps does not fit with the modern game, but his record speaks for itself.

Indifferent start, but I think you can see that he has potential. Definitely improving with each appearance.

I have always thought that Kozak was backup for Benteke and not his replacement. He was used as Benteke's backup when he was injured, but the problem is that so far he does not even look good enough to be backup. We will need someone of a much higher standard plus at least a very good creative midfielder to replace Benteke.

Delph seems to be improving all the time, if he continues to do so, it will all be down to the level he reaches. Certainly not the finished article yet.

This is such lazy journalism. How can you have an `exclusive' without quotes or comments from anyone. Then throw in a couple of other clubs for no particular reason. Any of us could have written that article.

Hate that agrument of there being worse owners out there!! It's a bit like you saying you have clamydia which isn't as bad as gonnehrea?? I don't want either!!! The other agrument out there would be that for every bad owner there is a good owner, unfortunately IMO Lerner is not either. He is Mr Mediocre! Of course you do not want either disease, but you must have an owner. And it would be preferable to have the lesser disease if you have to have one.

I really hope this guy is not Benteke's replacement.

i agree with Morpheus, our midfield is lacking in quality and presence. The all too occasional flashes of good play are not enough.

Thought that was unecessary and stupid. Takes him very close to a suspension. Not smart.

I am a supporter of Lerner on the basis that there are worse owners out there, but it is a misjudgement to not be at the ground for some matches at least. If he can turn up at the training ground, he can certainly turn up for the match. It looks bad, and if the team begin to do well, perhaps even reaching semis or finals of cups, and he then turns up, it wil look even worse. I assume he still has his own jet, it cannot be that big a problem to turn up occasionally.

Sometimes it's the little things that tell you a lot about the person.

Think Clark and Vlaar have just begun to get their act together, so would not change that.

He looked good preseason. Considering Weimann's form, I am surprised he has not got on at some stage.

He looks really slow, and has been dominated by the defenders. Even at this stage, the signs are not good.

It would probably be Delph, KEA and Sylla, but I think Westwood is better than the latter two, and how will he get his mojo back if he is not playing.

Voted Bacuna MOM. Seems to be getting better every match. Couple of great saves from Guzan kept us in with a shout. Delph put himself about as usual, but the other midfielders are pretty ineffective. And why the stupid yellow card, to bring him to 4, at that stage of the game. Up front, Agbonlahor did very little, Weimann, whom I really like, was poor, as he has been all season. And Kozak, early days perhaps, but he looks really slow and did he win any of the hoofs that Guzan seems to have resorted to of late. And for a big guy, he does not seem to get about the opposition the way he should, in fact almost looks like they are bullying him! Nice cameo from Tonev. A very disjointed performance from the team as a whole.
