That was an abject performance, and we did not have our luck to carry us through this time. Clark I voted MOM. Guzan was the only one came close, some good saves to keep the score down. Delph is easily the best of our midfield, and is a decent player, but is nowhere near as good a player as many supporters think. Our midfield was largely ineffective for most of the game, and were completely dominated again, not for the first time, by the opposition midfielders. And as for the strikers, when Agbonlahor is your best striker you know you are in trouble. We will get nowhere until we bolster our midfield and striking options with talented and relatively expensive players. We really have enough bargain basement players now, and it is beginning to show. If we cannot afford them, for whatever reason, then we just have to be patient and hope for better times ahead - but watching this lot can be a real chore at times.

When Benteke is back in form, Kozak will probably be the one coming on as a sub instead of bringing on Bowery, and I am ok with that.

Footballers should at least maintain the pretence of being fans of the teams they play/have played for. Yes, diving is part of his game, but it's a bit rich against the club that you played for for four years. Yes, I know what you are saying, but I really do not expect much from footballers. With some exceptions, of course.

Haven't found anything, er, conrete, yet. Not showing on the physioroom list and a quick google turned up nothing. I think he has become one of the most important players in our team, and hopefully he will not be out too long. At least Clark and Baker have improved on last season, especially Clark. Baker still has his heart-stopping moments.

You are probably right. I do not like loan signings, but Everton are building a season on the back of their loanees.

He jumped at the chance to join a team playing in Europe and at the top of the Premiership. He would have been stupid not to have done so. He is a professional footballer, not a fan, and will necessarily do everything he can to win the game for whatever team he is playing for at the time. And diving, unfortunately, is part of his game.

Not convinced he can do a lot else, but bloody hell, he can score goals. And important ones too, that are helping to gain us points. His general play has shown signs of improvement, so you never know!

Yep I'd take him back. General feeling on here seems to be he is a diver, I dont think it's any worse than when he was here originally Agreed. Why do people single him out? There are, unfortunately, lots of divers in the Premiership. And at least he would be our diver.

Ashley Young on loan for us would be a brilliant signing. He was great for us, always one who had you thinking he could come up with something special. Definitely better than anything we presently have in terms of flair, coupled with fantastic energy.

How are we playing so poorly and yet still managing to get points! Not complaining, but just astonished! Actually quite thrilling to be under the cosh and yet scoring unexpected goals. Great goal by Delph - even better goal by Agbonlahor. And Kozak, what can you say, quite ineffective yet keeps scoring! Defense went to pieces after Vlaar went off, we will miss him, let's hope he is not missing for too long. We have grit rather than flair, but I do love to see us win. Delph MOM.

Weimann certainly gives his all, and in my opinion is much more effective than Albrighton.

This could definitely be an idea, but it would need to be explained to him beforehand, the last thing we need is a pissed off Benteke. Weimann not so much, I think he will play himself back into form, and I am not convinced that we have anyone to bring in who will have the same threat. I think an opposition defender would prefer to face Albrighton than an out of form Weimann.

Agree with this to a large extent, but I think we have been very lucky with recent results, and the terrible football we have played recently could easily see us dragged back into a relegation fight.
